Has anyones child had a micropenis: What was the outcome?

I dated a guy like tht. Found out his sperm was bad. So no kids .

I think my grandson does. He’s 6 months and literally looks like he’s got an innie. When we change his diaper we have to push on the surrounding fat to get it to pop up and its tiny. My son was bigger but not alot bigger. I don’t know what he’s like as a 27yr old but he himself jokes saying he’s " hung like a parakeet"

Is he circumcised? Did they fuck it up? Try what ever you can, but when the sex talk come up he doesn’t need to be worried about his size, the right person will come into his life, and there’s so much more to relationships.

You now have embarrassed your child beyond believe. If any of his friends mom or grandma sees this don’t ask things like this on facebook, good grief woman. you would be better to google it. Just because he is little but people don’t forget

The issue isn’t with the child. It is with our culture and some of us lack sex education on the diversity of genitalia. I’m speaking about myself, specifically, as I didn’t know everyone’s junk was varied (and unique) until much later in my adult life. Also, people have different gene expressions. So, worry not, be proud of your child. Every bit is individual and made that way.

Got some sagging meat curtain energy going on in here.

Testosterone therapy can sometimes help with a micropenis. There is also a procedure that can be performed to help! I hope you get the answers you seek! Much love to you and your family. Good news is it isn’t the end of the world for him. He’s young so learning new ways to cope may help in the long run. Don’t listen to the ankle up there…… she’s lower than a cunt! Get it…ankle (lower than a cunt)

Does anyone know what os considered a normal size at age 11?

Ask the specialists and search in Google, I hope that the aunts and other relatives do not joke with him and lower his self-esteem, then they stop trusting the parents.

Its upsetting that grown women are making sexual jokes about a 10 year olds penis…but no we don’t sexualize kids at all.

Just wondering what is considered too small to then be micro?? My son is 3, so I know he’s got time to grow, but it is small. He’s underweight and under height so not sure if related

My son is big and the sonographer had a great giggle on it at the 20 week scan because he shoved it right in our faces there was no keeping that a secret :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::woman_facepalming::woman_facepalming::woman_facepalming::woman_facepalming:

Id ask why the heck your worrying iver the size of your boys penis. Thats not right.

Does your son seem bothered by it? If not, let it be…he’s still so young…he has plenty of time for growth. If it bothers him, then go further and figure something out. Remember, it’s his body…he should have a choice on what happens with it. Always talk to your child before altering his body. I hope you get the answers you’re looking for.

Hopefully it grows quick to make up for his mum being a dick and putting it on Facebook :face_with_monocle:

I don’t think medicine will help I think cosmetic surgery is the only option to fix it. But I’m not a doctor. And do not let all the Karen’s comments bother you. It’s a damn medical condition and nothing to be ashamed about!

There was a guy on UK television a few years back looked really lively and happy , had a great personality, was telling of his success with females even though he had a micro penis. So few realise its the personality and attitude of the man which wins a female over and the closeness in intimate union most females like more than anything and you have to get real close and stay close if the length is less than average. If a female does want additional experience and stimulation there are sex toys available to try.

Regardless if she instills amazing self esteem, when he is old enough to be aware of his penis and eventually wants to have sex it will effect him greatly. Now thankfully these days there are ways around one not having a sexually functioning penis. But finding someone who will be accepting and patient and want to explore is hard. Obviously as a mom she is concerned for him and his health Medically speaking I’m sure she wants to make sure she covers all areas and is getting correct information. I’d say consult specialists and and research, but also keep in mind he will be a man one day soon

Just stopping to say, this is parenting at its finest. Kudos to mama. It takes alot of love for your kids and courage, to come out asking help with such an intensely personal concern. I’m sorry I’m not well versed on your dilemma. But I’m damn glad you put your kid before your pride and reached out looking for support and feedback.

Please be sure to ask him how he feels about it. It’s important to focus on his mental well-being as well. Penis size can effect his psyche especially as he gets older. It can be extremely difficult if he plays sports when he’s around other young men who are well endowed. Guys can be relentless with teasing and girls can be cruel too, especially when he starts dating.

Dated a micro penis, probably the best lover I’d ever had. It’s called compensation! He had no shortage of girlfriends before or after me. People are born without arms and legs. Short stature…. Blind, deaf. It’s not the end of the world. Everyone is different and no one is perfect.

They can sometimes help with testosterone. I think it would depend on your child specifically and what they can do.

This is a medical condition as far as I know it’s permanent. With my sons diagnosis this is actually a common condition. He does not have his but I was informed just in case.

I think it is wonderful that you are intervening and trying to help him as best you can while he is still young and it can be fixed somewhat. As a Mom of 3 boys (none with this condition) and a pediatric nurse I do have patients with this condition. Sexual health is very important over a lifetime, so don’t discredit what you are doing. You can be raised with all the self esteem in the world, but why suffer for 60 years as and adult with something that could have be fixed? I would be upset if I was a 25 yr old man with a micro penis I knew my parents never attempted to fix and now it’s too late. I will tell you at age 10 he is very aware of his situation, so pleased choose your words wisely. Don’t ever make him feel ashamed or “less than”, those feelings will last a lifetime.

Teach him confidence. I don’t think you can fix that

I have seen a micro penis on a grown man. It was literally the size of a one or two year old. Very sad situation that should not be downplayed.

People there are implants with pumps that can help with this situation. Used mainly for men with cancer of testicle but can be used to increase size. Looks and feels real but man has to press implanted pump.

My son was born with a micropenis. Bloodwork showed low testosterone levels. A weekly dose of testosterone for a couple months to get his testosterone levels to normal & a monthly maintance dose of testosterone to keep his levels in the normal range has helped to increase his penis size. He still has a micropenis based on his age, but it isn’t as small as it was before the testosterone injections.

I don’t think this can be cured in adults. But children can often be treated with hormone therapy, and with good results if they start the therapy young enough. It’s usually caused by a testosterone deficiency.

My son does not have a micropenis however he is what i like to say a grower not a show-er he has large testicles but you cannot see his penis when it is flacid it looks like a belly button almost and i worry about his adult life but his dad was the same way all you ever saw was the head unless he was erect and i loved him anyway so you have to just kind of believe things will be ok and they will be

Good grief she is asking if others had the problem and what they did about it. These examples will give her ideas on how to help her child. You can’t rely solely on doctors because half of them are idiots

Basically, many comments have had parts of the correct info. It’s best, especially with the advancements in medical technology, that you consult with a renowned Dr. In this area of expertise.

It’s a medical Condition

Get him treated no man wants a small penis

It may be due to hormones

Well that really sucks now that you put them out on blast it’ll stay micro mini forever

I have a friend that’s in his 30s with this problem . He has trouble keeping relationships.

I saw a pediatric patient with a micropenis…

It does get bigger when puberty starts.

For all the ones with negative words… this is a real syndrome… and it has a very negative effect on a person mentally…a man can suffer suicide because of this… it’s not easy for a man to accept a penis as little as an inch to 3 inches fully erect… it’s not a bored mom, more like a pro active mom trying to have her sons mental health spared now in his younger years…

I… what? I dont inspect my kids penis closely enough to measure its size? What even is this post and the comments.

Most important, teach self esteem as he grows up. It’s the heart and mind not the shape of his body. He’ll pity the teasers intead if being affected by their words.

Best of luck to you momma! I don’t really have any answers. Seems like you got a lot of good advice here. I would definitely have his chromosomes checked and go from there.

I’m so glad you are getting your son seen by professionals. As much as there are “your body your choice” points to be made, this wouldn’t be correctable in adulthood. He should grow normally with the hormone treatments the specialist will give him. No boys of my own, but I’m a nurse.

Stupid people… the post is anonymous. For a reason. We have the right as parents to get information from other parents who may have gone through similar situations!!! If you don’t like a post because you’re uncomfortable talking about a penis, then just move on! It’s your problem, not the OP!!!

With that said, OP… I have experience with this however, the urologist wouldn’t do anything about it. Hopefully, yours will give you options for him!

My friends son did and she just never addressed it , I am not sure what happened later but he has a beautiful wife and two kids so I think it worked out some how .
