Any single parents of toddlers with sever autism that work from home?

I'm looking into options that would be best for my family. Because of my children's needs I would like to work from home but have had to rule out anything over the phone because of the constant high pitched noises they make. They also require a lot of my attention especially being toddlers. On top of that one of them and myself have compromised immune systems and have to be very careful with the virus. Has anyone found success with working from home, making enough to pay bills with 2 toddlers that have severe autism? I'm interested in cooking and baking and would love to do that but I would need to get set up with the equipment I would need. So I'm looking to see what other options would be available so I can save up for that. Also I live in Tucson, AZ if that helps. With little to no help from family or friends. And would highly prefer not to put my kids in daycare due to their disabilities and health. I'm aware of options suitable for their needs, I've worked in the field, just would prefer not to if at all possible. TIA!

You can set up work on hours when they’re sleeping, online customer service (the ones who provide customer service over chat), paperwork, start your own business, start small and work your way up

You can try to work for a reputable insurance company or telecommunications. (Avoid sales) customer service is good :+1:. You can get good money and save to invest in cooking supplies for your business.

I ended up having to work 3rd shift to make ends meet while continuing to be there for my daughter during the days.

Have you applied for disability benefits for your child/children with autism?

First off please contact your local social security office and apply your child for SSI benefits (this has been a life saver) they should give you back pay up until the date your child was given a diagnosis. If you’re eligible for food stamps apply for that as well. I worked from home through Kelly connect and they sent me everything I needed I just had to have good enough wifi. I had to work third shift to be able to accommodate being with my child and being able to work. It was customer support for Apple. I hope this helps best wishes :two_hearts:
