Help a mama out and respond anonymously on our forum. Any single parents of toddlers with sever autism that work from home?
You can set up work on hours when they’re sleeping, online customer service (the ones who provide customer service over chat), paperwork, start your own business, start small and work your way up
You can try to work for a reputable insurance company or telecommunications. (Avoid sales) customer service is good . You can get good money and save to invest in cooking supplies for your business.
I ended up having to work 3rd shift to make ends meet while continuing to be there for my daughter during the days.
Have you applied for disability benefits for your child/children with autism?
First off please contact your local social security office and apply your child for SSI benefits (this has been a life saver) they should give you back pay up until the date your child was given a diagnosis. If you’re eligible for food stamps apply for that as well. I worked from home through Kelly connect and they sent me everything I needed I just had to have good enough wifi. I had to work third shift to be able to accommodate being with my child and being able to work. It was customer support for Apple. I hope this helps best wishes
