Does anyone have Irish twins? How did you announce? I’m so nervous

Secondly, announce it however you choose. It’s wonderful, amazing news and should be celebrated! People will be surprised but excited and probably a little in awe of you!

My 2nd n 3rd are ‘Irish twins’ they the same age for a month or something like that lol… tbh people where more shocked about my actual twins then me having number 2 and 3 so close together…

Congratulations. I personally don’t announce my pregnancies as I don’t want to jinx it but each to their own . Maybe two outfits with a shamrock.
Yes, the two on the left. My boys are 10.5 months apart. I didn’t announce it. People eventually realized

I was 21 weeks when I told everyone my babies are 10m2d apart. Really depends on what you want to do.
My brother wasn’t even a year old when I was born. He was April 28, 1997 and I was April 11, 1998. 
Who cares what people think?! Announce it however makes you most happiest!!! 
I remember my brother once asking my dad “If I’m older than my sister, why does her birthday come first?”
And for about two weeks, we get to be the same age!!!

I had a baby in 2022 then when she turned 1 a few weeks later gave birth to twins she was a few months old when I found out I was pregnant with them
My great granddaughters are.
1st born 6/17/2021
2nd born 5/17/2022.
AND NO MORE😂

My first 2 are 10 months apart. Both born in 1980…
Me and my sister are Irish twins. We are the same age for just over 2month. I have always loved been the same age as my big sister for the time every year

My sister and I are almost Irish twins lol. We are 13 months apart. It was rough growing up though. We never got along, always fighting like cats and dogs. Now that we are older we get along better but still have moments lol
I have two, exactly 11 months apart. June 18, 2015, and May 18th, 2016. I just said I was expecting. It’s your life, your choice. Every baby is precious.

We waited till close to the end of our first trimester and then kinda sprung it on everyone at the end of our oldest birthday party lol. I’m currently due any day now. They’ll be 10 months apart. Some people were happy for us( we suffered quiet a few miscarriages and tried for 8 years so these 2 are huge blessings) others did the typical fear mongering and guilt tripping. That’s the biggest reason we waited as long as we did to announce. We both wanted to be prepared to deal with the comments and for us personally that was the best decision.

My first daughter and second daughter are 11 months and 8 days apart. And my first son and second son are 10 months and 29 days apart. At first when I found out I was pregnant I was scared of what people would say but then I could careless. Congrats.
My first 2 are 10 month apart. I was somewhere around 20 weeks when I told people, I don’t remember how. I think I just posted a picture
Mine are 11 months apart and I didn’t tell anyone. I announced it when my baby was born.
I do my girls are 11 months apart. I don’t even remember I think I just told people I was pregnant again but my two girls are so close & I love it.

My oldest 2 are 14 months apart. We put my daughter in a shirt that said- I’m a big sister! She was about 9 mos old and I was 3 mos pregnant. Nobody believed it and thought I had received the shirt as a hand me down or something. I said- Nope. She’s really a big sister, lol. We did better spacing out numbers 3 and 4. They are all now 22, 21, 18 and 16 and I’m very happy we had them close together. 
My 2nd and 3rd have their birthday same date a year apart x
mine are 9 months apart! but i adopted my daughter and found out that last round ivf did work a couple days later lol

15 months apart Here. I wanted them closer in age to be honest but I’m happy with where they are. I announced after I learned gender and was over 14 weeks. I got my first little one a I’m going to be a big brother onsies and took pictures during his monthly photos for being one month older. Basics r good

Not Irish but my 2 youngest are 14 months apart and I just came out with it, I was 7 months pregnant at my sons 1st bday party . It happens. If anyone has anything to say remind them that it’s not their life and not their kids
I didn’t announce any of my 5 pregnancy or genders. Not formally with a gathering and the such. I have 2 13 months apart so almost Irish twins.
My son’s kids are Irish twins by 10 days. No biggie here because the 3 youngest in his family birthdays are about 10 days apart in August. I celebrate them all at the same time whether mom and dad do or not.
My brother and I, Are 11 months and 21 days apart from each other! So weird being the same age for 8 days sometimes

My brother and I are by accident lol, when my mom had me when she was 19 1/2 she was told and believed it that you cannot get pregnant a month after having a baby… surprise you can also he was early

We received a 2 month old foster child when I was 8 weeks pregnant, so they’re a little less than 9 months apart.
I sent a picture of the ultrasound to family at 14 weeks, then put it on Facebook.
People thought I was crazy🤣
My 2 youngest are 8 1/2 months apart, the youngest was 6 weeks premature. Yes, you can get pregnant while nursing! The way their birthdays fell (10-5-86 & 6-19-87) they were in the same grade and graduated together! So very much like twins!

Yes, 13 months apart. I posted a sonogram with a caption. Is there a special way for Irish twins vs not? Some folk were actually upset they found out via Facebook like everyone else but 
We just had our Identical twin boys 7 months ago, and I’m pretty sure we are expecting again with #7 I don’t know how we will tell anyone 
My boys are 10 months 25 days apart. I told family normally. “Hey I’m pregnant again.” Facebook, I posted a picture of my son wearing a “big brother” shirt. And whoever noticed it, knew from then on.

I did I just said we were expecting again,2 days off a year for mine so 363 days then had another one 1 year and 6 days from my 2nd so 3 kids in just over 2 years
My 1 and 2 are 19 Months apart.
My 2 and 3 are 10 Months apart.
My 3 and 4 are 12 Month and 12 days apart.
My 4 and 5 are 15 Months apart.
All of mine are Irish twins.

My mother has 2 sets My sister and I are exactly 10 months apart and we love when people ask how old we are during the 2 months we are same age. “OH, your twins?” Nope and we look so much alike so it throws it off even more.
You just have two kids close in age. It’s nothing like twins lol

My third and fourth are 18 months apart my husband and I did the gender reveal and everything for our third child but some family made some rude comments and everything so I didn’t announce our fourth at all. We told family and some close friends I also decided while I was pregnant for the safety of our kids I wasn’t posting pictures of the kids anymore on social media so basically if you don’t talk to us daily (friends or family)you don’t know about our fourth. He’s currently 4 months old.
