Are side cramps normal while pregnant?

Posting anonymously as some of my family still don’t know. I am 18 weeks pregnant with my fourth. Has anyone else had really bad side pain and cramps off and on while being pregnant? I have not been bleeding or anything and the doctor said it’s probably just ligament pain, but none of my pregnancies have been this hard early on. I am in my 30s now, so that might be why.

Yes, ligaments stretching. Bring it up to your doctor if you’re worried at your next appointment. If gets worse before then, then be seen.

Yep. I’m on my 4th pregnancy, about to turn 36. It is on my right side… coincidentally… so is my son. And in fact all of my babies have sat on that side. I spoke to my midwife about it and she said ligament pain and stretching. She also said it probably doesn’t help when all of my babies have sat on that side

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I’m 38. This one has been way different than the 2 in my 20’s, haha. Round ligament pain, which I never had with my other 2, so many aches and not sleeping well.

With my first pregnancy it was ligament pain. Warm bath, support belt and resting helped.

With my second pregnancy it was an ectopic. But it was a much more severe in years kind of pain.
