My daughter is a little over a year old. She had it so bad on her face and above her ear it would scab and bleed and always looked awful. I used hydrocortisone cream daily for months but it finally cleared up and has not come back. She hasn’t had any other spots flare either. Perhaps your baby will grow out of it as well.
Have to see if he has allergies.
Eczema originated internally… Drink aloe juice daily!
May be a long shot but I delt with exema for a while. As adult. What helped my skin (and I still sometimes have issues) is controlling my diet. Not eating a lot of acidic and processed foods. Maybe cut out simenfoods to see if its anything specific
Another huge one is managing stress.
When hydrocortisone wasnt working my doctor gave me this amd it didnt come back
Oatmeal baths helped my daughter tremendously she use to be covered in eczema bumps
Eucerin eczema lotion works well
My daughter had severe eczema we saw the dermatologist . u need to switch to free and clear laundry detergent or a laundry detergent clear of dyes and fragrances and the only wash that really worked was aquafor and we tried everything .
Put ur milk on it momma
Elidel…works wonderful
Use raw shea butter or emu oil
I switched to arm and Hammer sensitive for my boy we use dove or the generic in the bath. Aveno when he was little. I found that even the bedding had to be done with the sensitive laundry soap… He is six we still have little patches that pop up. We just had a bunch of allergy testing done. Your little could have outside allergies that ate triggering it to. If it’s not bothersome to your little do what you can and don’t stress.
Limited baths, and when you do bathe, use aveeno baby oatmeal bath packets for eczema
Ny son had it SEVERELY and still gets patches. We use bleach bombs(1 tsp of bleach in a gallon of water) wet a gauze or cotton ball place it on the spots for two min. Then apply baby balm and vaseline and cover it. Do this 2x a day…
They say only for the spots that are red a scabbing
Just dry patches I use just the baby balm 2x a day and it clears up in about a week.
Only use 100% cotton clothing, do not let water dry on the skin immediately pat dry after any water activity and use the aveeno eczema lotion. My kids had eczema so bad they bled sometimes! It is genetic and usually symptoms lessen as they get older to more just dry itchy skin… never heard of it being food related… just annoying skin issues… I lotioned every morning and night unless they went swimming then I would lotion again. Water is a big enemy of causing breakouts…
