Any moms that workout? I want to start going to the gym again. No this isn’t a “new year new me” thing. I actually was going to the gym before work until i got laid off & started staying at home with my 2 year old & i was also pregnant. Money became tight for a while but now my baby is 2 months & money is good. How do i find time to go!? Childcare is too much & my husband works 14+ hour days 6 days a week so it’ll be rare for him to watch the kids. I don’t have any family close or that doesn’t work to help watch. I love lifting weights so at home programs are kinda ehh to me. I thought about purchasing this home gym but people kept saying it’s not for everyday use like they expected so that disappoints me. I just need some advice on how to either find time to go to the gym or some good home workout equipment.
Sounds to me like you won’t have time to go to the gym . My husband has had this problem . It’s been 2 years since he’s been able to go to a gym due to time . So this month we have bought a large set of weights and bars also a workout bench and other things that he wanted/needed for his own home mini gym . He doesn’t do cardio but just lift weights but when we move we are getting a few other larger gym items . This sounds the best way to go . Just adapt and good luck x
Find a gym that has daycare at the gym for while you workout. They usually only charge a couple dollars per child to use it. Otherwise get some workout gear for home and use videos off YouTube
YMCA has childcare for while you work out. Or when I had my lifetime membership the childcare was included in the membership.
