Discovered FIL had given his first name as hubby’s middle name. So we did the same. Then son gave his name to his first born as a middle name. Backwards, but having a middle name made finding the first name easier.
I love the names Hudson and Sawyer, hubby didn’t like Sawyer but we’re having a girl, so Grace it is!

We litterally went through every freakin name this last time. And he said no hocus pocus or harry potter.

My son is Arlo and I’m pregnant with Apollo. Didn’t mean to name them so similarly but can’t go back
We have an Andrew, Aiden and Lincoln. I love Liam, Leo, Grayson
I bought a baby name book and went through and circled the ones I liked then gave the book to the dad and he only looked at the circled names and crossed off what he didn’t like. We ended up with a name we both liked.

the name game is hard & my partner & I had the same battle with our son… So he was nameless for a few days because we couldn’t decide. (dad won the battle & I have no regrets) . I wanted Remi or Shaye but we have gone with Elijah. It suits him so much…
I also have a son from a prior relationship & his name is Brooklyn … I still love that as much as the day I chose it

My cousins are Justin Taylor and Alexander Jordan. My aunt and her (ex) hubby couldn’t figure out names for their kids either, so they picked each a name they liked, and then a name to honor a relative. So it was a comprise and still sounded good. 
I know different couples who have sons named Titus, Tatum, and Bear.
I took my husband’s middle name and added ton to make Clayton and Duane was hubbys step Father’s middle name and so we have Clayton Duane
