When I was carrying my son, I was going to name him David as it meant “beloved”. I was told when I was 16 that I would probably never be able to have a child, so when I became pg, my son was beloved to me. But…when he was born he looked like a “Mark” while he is still beloved, Mark is his true name. It also gave my husband the opportunity to tell people “he made his mark in this world.”
