I wouldn’t advise it. The judge will most likely make you return with the children or hand them over to the other parent with you getting weekends. Especially if they are already established there in school, pediatricians, and with family and friends.

Ask your lawyer. I wouldn’t advise it unless he’s close to the border anyways and it doesn’t add travel time etc

Ask your lawyer. I had to prove that my move (in the same county) was beneficial to my kids. I moved to be closer to the school.

You can move counties. Just not states.

I wasn’t allowed to move counties during mine, I’m in Texas though. I’d ask your lawyer.

Why do this to the children? You never mentioned being in danger. That would be the only reason to leave. Other than that you are trying to win the upper hand while hurting these children at the same time.

It may mean a delay in your divorce because it will need to be moved to the new county. But your lawyer would know the laws in your area best

Maybe other counties in your state, but if you are moving to another state I would ask a lawyer.
