I am going to have two little ones in diapers soon and I was just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a cheaper overnight training pants option. We just discovered the up & up training pants and that was a huge win for us! They’re half the price and extremely similar to huggies pull ups. My little guy always leaks overnight without the overnight diapers but gosh they are pricey and you don’t get very many

I never did the overnight training pants. Diapers until they were trained.
**I did use pullups if I got them on sale or clearance but, generally, no.
I don’t remember what my older kids did but, my youngest was dry at night for months (with a diaper in for bed) before he was fully potty trained and he did it on his own.

There’s actually potty training underwear. It’s basically underwear but has padding just in case of an accident and is washable! Got my son potty trained faster with these than pull ups. Walmart has them and they run about $10 where I’m at.
Here’s what I did…I cut a giant garbage bag open, lay it under the sheet. My son would have an accident, come wake me up, cuz he was a little cold and didn’t like being in his pee, gave him a quick shower and redid the process. It’s a little work, but it is cheapest. Lol. It only took a few nights, he figured he didn’t like being wet, cold, and having to take the 5 minute shower to clean him up.
Everything we ever tried that wasn’t huggies leaked or broke my daughter out. I will say she only gets 1 cup of water before bed and that helps a lot
