Christmas ideas for 10-year-olds?

I know it’s early but I need ideas for Christmas gifts for my 10 year old son. What’s popular now a days among that age group?

You can always ask him what he wants and go from there

Give him a price range and have him make an Amazon wish list

Have you asked him what he wants?

If he doesn’t ask for it or at least show interest in something don’t waste your money. Surely in everyday regular conversation he expresses certain interests.

As his mother I would think you know what he’s into? I don’t like the idea of asking a kid what they want as it teaches them that Christmas is about getting what you want rather than about giving and sharing the joy. I’d pose the question like. There’s a little 9 year old boy that doesn’t have much as they are struggling. What do you think we could get that boy to help make him smile and feel loved this Christmas? Then he’ll tell you ideas and you can buy something for him off your list and also take him shopping for a charitable gift to give. This way he learns that others are not as lucky and he learns empathy and he learns the gift of giving.

This is an odd question to me. You know your child, we don’t.

Mine doesn’t necessarily like the same stuff all kids in her age group do.

Don’t kids make a list still? That was the fun thing as a kid… you make a list and you put a star next to things that you want and if you really wanted to get detailed you write which store it’s even at.

Just ask him to write a list just say its to give father Christmas an idea of what he would like.
