My child’s father is a truck driver. We have shared parenting, but I have my child 99.9% of the time. He sees her only 1 time, every 2 month, for 2 hours at a time. He calls maybe once a week or every 2 weeks. He may text every once in awhile. I tried to tell him that if he doesn’t put in more effort with my child, he can’t see her, anymore. I don’t feel like it’s my responsibility to call HIM to talk to HIS daughter. This has been going on for like 3 years. Since our conversation, nothing has changed. Should I give him one more chance or cut him off, completely? I just want her to have a constant father figure in her life, I feel him not being there, is also negatively effecting her behavior. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
