Did anyone have a small baby after they were told they were going to be big?

I was told I would have a 9-11 lb baby. He was 6 lbs 5 oz.

Induced 2 wks early cuz 1st baby was estimated at 9 lbs. She weighed 4 lbs 15 oz

My first born weighed 7lbs 7oz and they got bigger every time. My youngest weighed 9lbs 3oz took me along time to recover :sleepy:

My doc told me he was going to be like almost 9 lbs. And ended up at 6lbs 12 oz.

I was actually the exact opposite, with my 1st they kept telling me he was smallā€¦ wound up needing an emergency csection because he was too big. He wound up being 9lbs2oz 23in

I was induced at 38 weeks because they thought she was going to be big and she was only 7 pounds

Yes mine was guessing 7lbs and she came out 5lbs 10oz.

thank you ladies for the input. were just gonna have to wait and see what happens at delivery damn it lol.

My son always measured 3+ weeks ahead. At my 32 week ultrasound they thought he would be a 9+ pounder. I gave birth to a healthy 6lb, 11oz boy at 39 weeks and shocked my OB!

This is me the morning of our c-section with our 3rd child. My husband and I were expecting a small baby.

My midwives were also concerned as I wasnā€™t gaining any weight throughout the pregnancy so we had an ultrasound and was told he should be at a healthy weight.

He was born at 3.2kilos. I have no idea how he had fit in thereā€¦ but he had.

I was told over 8 and my son was exactly 6 lol

My doc said both my babies would be big. And was right. My 1st I was induced 2 weeks early as they were guessing him at 9 lbs already and was showing signs of preeclampsia. He was 9.6 and never lost weight as a newborn. Still a bigger kid now.
My daughter I was only induced 1 day early and estimated to be 8.5 to 9. She was 8.12 at birth and 8 even leaving the hospital. 4.3 years later and shes only 36 lbs. My tall and thin one. LOL

I was told my son was 9 lb 13 oz he was born 7 lb 8 oz

The told me my son would be 7-8 lbs. He was only 6lbs 2oz. Left the hospital at 5lbs 9oz.

I was told I was having an 11 pound baby and he was only 7.5 pounds.

It was opposite for my second. The whole time they kept telling me she was gonna be small. Not more than 5 or 6 pounds. She was my biggest baby at 8 lbs 12 oz. She was just short and still is at 8 years old (Tuesday). So they could be off either way

36 weeks ultrasound estimated 8lb 14 oz. They scheduled my c section a little over 38 weeks because they were anticipating a 10 lb +baby if I waited until 40 weeks. He was born 8lbs 6oz. Either way I would have had a c section due to a previous surgery.

Yes, Iā€™ve had gestational diabetes in all pregnancies. Which means I have a lot more ultrasounds. My last kiddo in 2018 they said he was gonna be between 8 and 9 pounds at 37 week when they induced me. I was in complete shock that he was only 6 pounds. He was my smallest baby. They were more accurate with my previous 2 children.

I had monthly measurements and ultrasounds because I was considered high risk. They told me from the beginning she was measuring big. Getting closer to the end she was still supposed to be 9+ lbs. I had an ultrasound days before she was born and they still said she would be big. When they laid her on my chest I was a bit confused because she didnā€™t look big at all. She ended up being barely 6 pounds. So even with lots of ultrasounds they were still wrong.

Yup and they were wrong. My son came out 2 weeks earlier than they thought he was. So 34 weeks instead of what we thought was 36. He was also 4 lbs and change. Came out not breathing because they thought I was later than I was so they didnā€™t give me the shot that could have developed his lungs.

I had gestational diabetes and carried large. They induced on my due date since they thought he was 10 lbs. emergency c-section after 9 hours of labor and he was 7lb4oz. 2nd son they also said he was big. 3 weeks early he was 6lb10. Ultrasounds are not always correct!

Ultrasounds can be off by a few lbs either direction. I was told my oldest would be ā€œat least 8 lbsā€ both by ultrasound and by my midwife measuring my belly.
She was 6.10.
Also. Big or small doesnā€™t necessarily mean harder or easier labor. My biggest baby was my easiest labor. My smallest was my hardest.

I had a ultra sound right before they were going to induce me at 40 weeks & 3days they said she was 9-10 pounds did i want to induce or c section andbthat it could be off and she could be smaller but i went ahead with a c section and she ended up being 9.5 pounds! So they can be off a little but there probably around what they see

I was induced 2 1/2 weeks early because measurements and ultrasound said my son would was over 9 lbs. Figured around 11 if waiting till due date. Dr said no way he would come out naturally at that size. At birth he was 6lbs. 9oz. I think they have no clue sometimes.

Yep, they told me my daughter was going to be a bigger baby even though I had before she was due, and she was only 6 pounds. I had toxemia, so at that point I had been on bedrest, and was going in for a ultrasound 2 times a week. Then one night they told me I had to across the street (to the hospital) to have her, because it was becoming unsafe for both of us. They assured me she would be ready and was probably going to be a 7-8 lb baby, even though it was a little early. They were right, she was ready, but she was still tiny. I just didnā€™t understand how after so many ultrasounds, they could be so off.

With my year old daughter the dr was worried because I measured smaller at 30 weeks. My dr ordered an ultrasound and the baby was fine and everything inside was fine too. When she was born by emergency c section she weighted 6lbs 15oz

Mine was the opposite. My first son was 8 lbs and I had a hard time getting him out so I was worried my second son would be larger and even harder to get out. I was told not to worry I was measuring right for my weeks and would probably have a 7 pounder. He came out 8.6 after 2.5 hours of pushing. I was so mad. Especially since I was trying to get induced early just by a week or two (due to my fear) and my doctor wouldnā€™t.

With my last baby, they told me she was going to be huge since at my 20 week anatomy scan she was estimated to be measuring at 2.8 pounds, so I had to go back every month for a weight check since they worried that she was going to be almost 11 pounds by her due date. Ended up delivering her on time and weighed 8lbs 9oz the day before Valentineā€™s Day in 2019

I went for my 40 week exam and my belly measured 44 weeks. So they sent me for an ultrasound bc I was going to have a v-bac. They measured the baby to be over 10 lbs. So I had another C, and she was smaller than the last one at 8.5. I donā€™t hold a lot of stock in these measurements. I think women tend to have babies of about the same size if they are delivered around the same gestational point.

I had 4 kids. I was told they would get bigger with each pregnancy. Was told my second was going to be close to 11 pounds based on ultrasound. He was 8lb 11oz. His older brother was 9lb Ā½oz so definitely not biggerā€¦They all actually got smallerā€¦

Mine was oppositeā€¦ I had to have my first daughter two weeks early because my fluids were too low. When they measured her they thought for sure sheā€™d be under 3 pounds. She was almost 7ā€¦ so I learned that they arenā€™t close to be exact!

My oldest daughter was born 2 weeks early, I was in labor for 2 hrs. Pushed for 45 min, she came weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 oz. And my youngest daughter was very late I was almost 43 weeks pregnant, they were concerned because she showed no signs of being ready to come so they induced me I was in labor for almost 8 hrs, I pushed for about 20 min. She was 9 lbs. 1 oz.

I had gestational diabetes with my first born and had to have a c-section and he weighed 9lbs. 9 ozs. I was full blown diabetic by the time I got pregnant with my second one and they thought she was going to be big but when they done c-section, I had a lot of fluid and the baby was 6lbs. 10ozs. My third one she ended up being 9lbs. 4ozs.

I was high risk because type 1 diabetic. They monitored me like crazy and warned me about having big babies. I was 119lbs when I got pregnant with all 3 kids. 1st 3 weeks early 9lbs 12oz, 2nd 13 months later induced 1 week early 9lbs 8oz and my 3rd had to have a c-section because she was measuring over 10lbs and sure enough 10lbs 2oz! My doctors were spot on with all 3. Again though I had doctors that specialized in high risk. With that being said, I would have rather pushed out the 10 pounder than have a c-section!

It happens a lot more than you think I was told that my baby was going to be over 10 lb they also told me that they were going to have me push but if it didnā€™t work they had a C-section ready to go for me my baby girl was born 6 pounds 9 ounces donā€™t always trust ultrasound.

I had twins and I went for my 37 week ultrasound a high risk doctor because of having twins and they told me baby A had stopped growing and he was only going to be around 2 lbs I had to have them that dayā€¦ Baby A was 4lbs 13 oz and Baby B was 5lbs and 11oz they was both healthy didnā€™t need special treatmentā€¦ I was scared beyond words but so relieved they was wrongā€¦ they are Happy 6 and half year old boys now!!

Three times was told my baby was gonna be about 6 lbsā€¦they came out 8ā€™2ā€¦8ā€™7ā€¦and 9ā€™5ā€¦opposite of what you asked but I donā€™t think they can be right every timeā€¦

Ultrasounds can deff be wrong in my experience they induced me 3+ weeks early after multiple ultrasounds said she stopped growing prepared me for a tiny baby the specialist even took a look. she came out just fine at 6lbs even. My biggest was only 7lbs8oz so goodluck!

Yup, for both. They told me I wouldnā€™t be able to deliver bc I am small and they told me I was going to have 10 lb babies. I believed them and ended up with an emergency c for my first, she was 7lbs. Same for my second. I didnā€™t believe them this time and had a successful VBAC with an 8lb baby :unamused:

I was induced at 38 weeks, sent right from my appointment to the hospital after they thought my son was going to be 10 lbs. they said he couldnā€™t get bigger since I was tiny then and they were scared I would be able to do naturally on my ownā€¦ he wa 7lbs 13 oz.

They said my son was going to be like 9 lbs and he ended up being 6. I gained like 10 lbs but thatā€™s bc Iā€™m a thicky thick already lol
He was a tiny adorable little alien when he came out

They induced me 3 weeks early because they said heā€™d be a big boy. They were right. He was 8 lb 13 oz. at 3 weeks early. And I knew when I got pregnant because I had to give trigger shots to release eggs

  1. At a 40 week ultrasound they said expect an 8 lber. 2 weeks late she was born 6 lbs 13 oz.

  2. Est. 3 or 4 lbs., 5 lbs max (her stubby legs made her measurements off). Came out 7 lbs. 3 oz.

  3. Had switched offices. 40 week est. 8lbs 2 oz, 3 days later he came out at exactly 8 lbs 2 oz.

My middle was 10# guess after an ultra sound at 37 weeks. She was 10# when she came out with a csection. I had gestational diabetes but wasnā€™t diagnosed until after 30 weeks when I switched doctors due to original dr not doing tests or caring.

All of mine were correct i got induced early with my last two because we knew i was having big babies all of them were over 9 lbs although my last they thought would be small being he only had a 2 vessel cord but he came out over 9lbs too.

I gained 30 pds with my pregnancy and was told my daughter would be 8-9 pds. They induced me at 37 weeks and were so sure she was going to be so big but ended up weighing 6# 14 oz.

Iā€™ve never had them tell me my baby was going to be big, the opposite rather. Doctors weā€™re convinced my oldest was only going to weigh about 3-4 lbs.
He wasnā€™t big but he came out 6.2 lbs

For the last 5/6 weeks I was told the baby is fine even though measurements proved the baby hadnā€™t grown in that time. Go with your gut and check it out please. Mine was fine thankfully but still needed a bit of time under the heat lamp and was only 5.8 lb born so please check it out. You are in charge x

Smaller baby doesnā€™t make a difference itā€™ll still come out lol. We are very stretchy, with my ā€œsmallerā€ baby I had 3 tares, and needed stitches, she was 7lb 5.9oz, my other baby was 8lbs 11.1 oz and I had no tares and recovery was a breeze. And theyā€™ve always been wrong :woman_shrugging:

Doctor thought that my son might weigh as much as 12 lbs but he weighed a little less than 9lbs. They did take him a week early to try to prevent him from growing bigger.

The sonographer told me that they are considered accurate within +/- 2 lbs of what they tell you. I was told my son was going to be at least 8 lbs. He was 5 lbs 14ozs. But if you already had a big baby I wouldnā€™t expect to have a huge difference with the next.

My first baby once I was about six months every doctor visit the kept saying this is a BIG baby with very much emphasis on big. I want 19 and they had me so scared I was having a 10lb + baby. He was bornā€¦ 6lbs 15 ozā€¦ the doctor said ā€œWhat! Measure that baby again.ā€ Lol. I was so relieved and he was a beautiful, healthy bundle of joy.

My last baby they thought I measured small as well and at 36 wks had an ultrasound and he was 5lbs there and they thought in the hospital he would be another 8 pounder like my oldest and he was 7lbs 11oz i was all baby my oldest was 8 lbs 11oz so decent for my little one but hurt w/my oldest but still up and at it right away w/both

My first the watched and a month before he was born the estimated he was already 7lbs 12ozā€¦ 2 weeks before he was dueā€¦ I had him 2 weeks late and he was 9lbs 13 ozā€¦ they were pretty spot on. However my second they thought was going to be bigger so lots of ultrasound and I was induced on my due date( I almost died with my first cause my dr didnt deliver another one did who said it wouldnā€™t be that big a baby) he was only 8lbs 3 ozā€¦ so I think it depends on the technician who does it and how much your little one stays stillā€¦ my other 2 were 9lbs 3oz and 9lbs 4ozā€¦ last was induced a week early

My biggest baby was also my easiest and least painful birth. No epidural and no episiotimy because she came so fast. Smallest baby was the hardest for me. Donā€™t think size matters.

My first they predicted to be small, I only gained 18 lbs. She was 8 lbs even. Second gained 21 lbs, he weighed 7lbs 15 oz. Twins, I gained over 100 lbs were taken at 34 weeks , c-sec. 4lbs 2oz and 4 lbs 12 oz.

Yes, I had gestational diabetes with my second baby and regular scans. On the last scan the estimated weight was 8lb 2oz and that was around 37 weeks. She was delivered at 38 weeks and weighed 7lb 3oz which is a good weight for early term. But totally under her estimated weight. Ever since she has always measured and weighed petite for her age.

Sorry, they said my son would be smaller. He was 8 pounds. Not huge but definitely not small.

Yes. In fact I was told I had gestational diabetes and my 4th baby would be my largest baby guaranteed! She was full term at 5 lbs 14 oz ā€¦ My first they projected he was already 8 lbs and I still had a month to go and said ge works gain a lb a week. He was 6 lbs 8 oz. I wouldnā€™t get too worked up about a babyā€™s size honestly. Just my experience though.

All of my docs were wrong about their weight estimatesā€¦ It really depends on how average the baby isā€¦ my babies were above average so they thought they were farther along. My first due date with my oldest Jan 9th the ultrasounds from 4 months on said I was due Dec 25th ā€¦ Which was wrong. He was born Jan 4th. I just had a big boy 9lbs 4oz 21 1/2in. He is still way above average in height, weight and head circumference. Always been 99-90th percentile. With my next two they were about a pound off of the estimate doc saying 7lbs aprox all mine where 8-9 lbs.

Yes, my 2nd child, a boy. My measurements were getting so big, Dr was concerned baby would be over 10lbs. My 1st child was 8.4lbs & got stuck briefly on the way out. So I had another ultrasound to confirm size & make a plan for a large baby. However, ultrasound showed my wild boy vigorously stretching full length! His measurements were about 6+ lbs at the time. At birth he was actually 7.12lbs!

They ā€œguessedā€ my last daughter to be around 7 lbs, similar to my other children. At exactly 39 weeks, she came and was only 5lb 3oz, but healthy. She is still a peanut at 8 years and only 48lbs lol

I was told I had gestational diabetes but once I started with the finger pricks 4x/day, I never tested high. I ended up losing weight on the gestational diabetes diet, gave birth a month early and had a total weight gain of 9 pounds. My baby was 4 pounds, 10 ounces. I think I pricked my finger twice after giving birth, again with normal outcomes, and then decided I was too busy with a newborn, a rigorous feeding schedule of feed what had been pumped with a syringe since her suckling ability wasnā€™t there yet, attempt to nurse, pump and start all over every 2 hours to put weight on her. They only warned that sheā€™d be a large baby because they though I had gestational diabetes. I know think that test was inaccurate. Sheā€™s 14 now, an inch shorter than I am and might be 95 pounds on a ā€œheavyā€ day. Donā€™t let them scare youā€”itā€™s not an exact science.

Yes! I saw a covering doctor while my OBGYN doc was off and she scared the life outta me, saying I was going to have a 9lbs baby and that I needed the have a c-sec. When i saw my doc the next visit he said ā€œNO, youā€™re not having a big baby and c-section isnā€™t needed unless something is happening during delivery for me to have a c-sectionā€. To confirm he ordered a ultrasound and the ultrasound confirmed baby was small at about 5-6 pounds!
He was right I delivered a healthy baby boy at 6lbs 14 oz.
Get a 2and opinion!

Our baby (second) was always averaging 3-4;weeks ahead on growth in every aspect including weight and an ultrasound the day before birth said 9lbs13oz. He was born less than 12 hours later at 10lbs3ozā€¦ thankfully he was a c section due to him turning breech at last minute

My boys both weighed 7.9 and were born on their due dates! Had them totally natural, no episiotomy, stiches, pain shots, just me pushing n fussing!! I was blessed w easy deliveries. And my boys are33 n 34. Thank GOD every day for them.
Best wishes and positive vibes your way. May you have a painless, speedy delivery!

My third was measuring a week ahead in head size during every ultrasound (i.e. at 24 weeks his head measured as 25 weeks, etc.). At my last OB appointment before his birth, he estimated heā€™d be over 10 lbs, based on my big belly (Iā€™m only 5ā€™4", so I was literally all baby). He was only 9 lb 6 oz. and average sized head.
I wouldnā€™t worry about it unless you are petite and thereā€™s a prevalence of large babies in your family.

Yep! They actually induced me 5 days early because my son was measuring big. They told me to prepare one a 9 or 10 lb baby. He was 8.9lb, shocked the doctor and had to be weighed twice because they thought for sure it was wrong.

Yeah. My last one. My MD wanted to give me a c section because she thought that she was going to be over 10 lbs because my one before was almost 10. I refused. She weighed 7.9

Both of mine were smaller than ultrasound suggested they would be. One was supposed to be at least 9 pounds the other about 8.5. they were 7lb 15 ounces and 7 lb 7 ounces. But they are now 21 and 17 and ultrasound is much different now

They kept telling me I was alright and the baby would be average. I ended up having 2 large babies. One over 9 lbs. One over 10 lbs. Ultrasounds are not always right

I had the opposite happen with my son. He was estimated to be around 7 lbs and ended up being 10lbs. This time around my babygirl was measuring 87% at 28 weeks - praying she is smaller than my son was but I doubt it :woman_shrugging:t3:

With my son they said he was measuring about 2 weeks bigger and he was 7 pounds 11 ounces born at 37 weeks then my daughter they said she was going to be around 7 maybe under and she was 8 pounds 14 ounces born at 37 weeksā€¦ they would have both been huge had I been able to go to 39-40 weeks :joy: also Iā€™m 5 feet tall with the shortest torso ever so I looked like I was having twins both times :joy:

First baby they estimated 10+ lbs but he was 7lbs 4oz at birth. Second baby they estimated 9lbs and she was 8lbs 13oz. Third baby theyā€™re again estimating 9lbs, weā€™ll find out in the next 10 days if they are right. Theyā€™ve told me all 3 are 99th percentile and though the first wasnā€™t born there he caught up quick and theyve been in the 95-99 range their entire lives so far

My oldest I was told heā€™d be 11 pounds. He was born 8lbs 5oz.
My second they wouldnā€™t even estimate. Said he was growing fine. And he was also born 8lbs 5oz.
My youngest two are twins. They estimated the week before they were born that twin A was 8lbs 3oz and twin b was 7lbs 2oz. Twin a came out at 5lbs 15oz and twin b was 7lbs 3oz.

My first was over 9 pounds: my second they said would be almost as big but she wasnā€™t even 7 pounds, she has medical problems that effect her weight though. Iā€™m pregnant with my third and the doctor hasnā€™t said his estimate yet but heā€™s measuring right on with my first

I was told my ENTIRE pregnancy that my son was going to be big, he was measuring 3 weeks ahead and they actually thought he was going to come early he was so big. At 34 weeks he measured 4lbs. He was born on his due date and weighed 8lbs 13 oz.

I did, my first was 5 pounds at birth and the midwife scared me by saying on she measuring big. Itā€™s not an accurate measure which can be really upsetting for expectant mums.

Yes! I had 2 babies. 1st was 8lbs 1oz. 2nd was 7lbs 6oz.
They tried to tell me both would be 9 or 10lbs. I feel like it is not made clear just how much of an estimate this is and it is not helpful for new moms, who are already nervous to tell them their baby is in the 100th percentile! Its fear mongering. Women need to be empowered. Your body grew your baby and it can birth this baby! Whatever its size. It is not faulty. Sure, we have all heard of someone having a 10lbs baby, but that is not the norm.

When I had my daughter back in 1988 I had gestational diabetes. It never came back. When I was in labor they said about 7 pounds. After 7 1/2 hours of pushing she came out weighing 9 lbs 13 1/2 oz. Very healthy baby and now she has 2 sons herself.

Yep I was told at 36 weeks my baby was going to be 10lb 4 and was overdue I had him at 38 +2 weighed 8lb half once but was facing wrong way ! But then I had twins at 29 weeks and they was bigger than expected at 3 llb each breech !

All 3 of mine went down a lb each time. Middle one was 2lbs less than they predicted! Either way youā€™ve got this! Second delivery for me was sooooo much easier that 1st

Well they said my baby was huge at 35 weeks like already close to 8 pounds or something like that. She was born at 39+4 a whole 7 pounds 14oz  they were trying to talk about a induction and everything.

I had weekly sonograms due to a macrosomic baby. Around 32 weeks they told me we had to do a cesarean because he was too big for my body and waiting longer could endanger me. When they got him out he weighted over a pound more than they had estimated. By his actual due date he was close to 15 pounds. Now hes 15 yrs old and 6ft 8. I know the stress of carrying a large baby and I feel for you.

I was induced 2 weeks early, they were saying at that point she was close to 10 lbs and would be closer to 12 by my due date. She was 6 lbs 10oz šŸ¤¦

My daughter they told her at 2 differ ultrasound his estimated weight said he will probably be a 7.5-8 lb baby he was 6lb 2ozā€¦tiny little thing!

Yes I got induced at 38 weeks because they said my baby was already 8.5lbs at 36 weeks and they didnt want her to get any bigger. So two weeks later she was born at 7lbs 11 ounces. Her sister before her was 8lbs at 39 weeks so I take weight with a grain of salt.

With my twins I had 4 weeks to go an I had a stroke an was told I had to try stick the last 4 weeks out coz I was going to have 2 tiny 3 lbs babies, I made a deal with my midwife to get them out 3 weeks early and they were not little 3 lbs I had perfect sized twins at 6lb 2oz an 6lb 5oz. So the scan was completely incorrect

Both pregnancies I was told I would have a big baby due to gestational diabetes. I was told they weighed almost 2lbs more that what they were born at. 1st baby was 6lb 9oz second was 6lb 10oz. 6 years apart.

The further along you are, the more the weights is off. It can be off by 1-2 pounds at the time of delivery.
If baby is measuring much larger, then you can alter your diet. You can cut back on carbs and sugar. That not only puts weight on you, but baby as well.
My third was measuring close to 10lbs. He was born at 39wks6days and weighed 8lb 12oz, which was only 5-6oz heavier than my previous two boys who were both past due. My midwife was great though and was still very willing to assist in the natural delivery I had wanted.

My first born put me in the hospital with preeclampsia, I had to have daily stress test ultrasounds for a week before they induced me. They told me she was around 8 pounds going by the measurements in ultra sound and was born 5 pounds 2.8 ounces a day later.

They did with my last. They said he was 5lbs already amd I had a month to go. Blamed it on gestational diabetesā€¦ then when I had him he was 5lbs 6ozā€¦ my smallest out of 4

Oh yes hunnie. We had to go to multiple extra appointments. They had us so sure he was going to be huge and he was Itty bitty.

Yes. At the last ultrasound at about 35 weeks, we were told my toddler was going to be about 8-9 lbs. He was born at 39 weeks and was 6# 9oz

They told me 8lbs 12 oz for my now 1 month old. She was 8lbs 6oz. So they were close. The ultrasound tech told me that she had under measured another mom the prior week. The estimate was 8lbs something and the baby was 10lbs something.

They were predicting my last baby was going to big like 10 lbs or more by how big I was measuring was scheduled C section so took her at 38 weeks since they thought she was so big, was 8 lb 10 oz

I was told my son was going to be at least 9 lbsā€¦ he was 5 lbs 10oz. They guessed my daughter at 10+, she was 7 11ā€¦ both of my kids are super tall tho and were super long.

At all my ultrasound sounds they said he was measuring bigā€¦ I had ultrasound at 38wks 5 days they said he was 9lbs had c section the next day and he was only 7lbs 11oz

All my babies were bigger than expected actually. My daughter was estimated to be 4lbs 9oz and she came out 5lbs 13oz. My first son was estimated at 7lbs 12oz. He came out 8lbs 9ozs. Then my second son was estimated at 7lbs 7ozs and he came out at 8lbs 2ozs. Just remember to focus on the fact that you will have your baby soon and that the size as long as they are healthy doesnā€™t matter so much. I realize it hurts

With my first they where way off that was 11 years ago. With my other three they where only an ounce or two off. My first I was told he was going to be 9lbs, he was 7.11lbs second 9lbs she was 8.15lbs third 7.2lbs was 7lbs even and fourth was measured at 8.9lbs two days before delivery and was 8.15lbs.
