Did anyone have hip problems after giving birth?

So I was wondering if any Mama’s had issues with hip problems after having kids? I had my 3rd baby 5months ago, and ever since I had him the pain in my right hip all the way to my knee has been worse. Doesn’t matter if I’m staying busy and running around, or if I’m just sitting and trying to relax. Yesterday is was so bad the pain was in the right side of my back and all the way down to my knee. I’ve been trying to get a Dr appt but almost all of the providers left and they’re trying to get news one in office to take patients. I’ve tried taking Tylenol and ibuprofen and take hot baths, but nothing is helping and it hurts like hell.

Chiropractor and physiotherapist should help! I’ve had the same issues during and after pregnancy. Epsom salts baths 3x a week helps as well. Lots of rest and heat on the area when needed too.

Had Sciatica after birth of my daughter she is 24. I recently had to have back surgery because it got worse. Back surgery is not fun at all it has taken me almost a year to get some relief.

My chiro put me on a stretch rack and in 3 days my sciatic pain was gone. That was 7 years ago.

I developed SI joint dysfunction shortly after my first baby. It hurt all the way to my knee and in some spots it felt numb-ish. SI joint is the one that stretches to make your hips wider during pregnancy and delivery. And some women’s hips do every go back to normal they remained stretched out. Si joint also produces a hormone that can cause weight issues. And it can feel like your hip is floating out of the socket at some points. Not sure if this would be something you have going on but it is always worth a mention to your doctor. It took 6 doctors to misdiagnose me and then I saw a pain doctor who knew exactly what it was.

You may try getting into a chiropractor. Most can x-ray it and see if maybe it’s just out of place.

Sounds like sciatica (nerve in spine being pinched) Look up exercises/stretches for sciatica. They help a lot.
