Did anyone wait until delivery day to find out gender? What was your personal experience? Did you buy everything neutral or splurge after baby was born?

I didn’t find out until birth with my third. Everything was neutral, I loved it. With the 4th my husband wanted to find out but she still wore all her brothers newborn things.

I didn’t find out till birth, but not by choice. This was 20 years ago and I only had one ultrasound in which he refused to show his business to. I was convinced it would be a girl and got 90% girl stuff then 10% neutral. That’s what I get for thinking I have any clue what is going on. With the right mindset it could be fun, just don’t convince yourself one way or the other lol

I have 5 children out of the 5 we waited for 2 till delivery to find out gender. If my husband was ok with it I would have prob done it 4 out of the 5 times. The feeling is def more exciting to wait and we just did everything gender neutral and after baby came we bought a couple items that were more towards the gender!! Both times ours were boys!! I would recommend it 10/10 lol

I waited for the last 2
But my gut feeling told.me I was having girls
Which I did

Yes we waited with all our kids it’s amazing suprise at the end

We did 2 times but that was back in the very early 1980’s

Back when I was pregnant they didn’t do ultrasounds.

Yep!!! Waited for both of mine

No I couldn’t wait that long lol

In my day we bought neutral cream or white, though I got yellow too. When baby went home family and friends produced suitable garments, mostly handed down as babies grow so fast. I hardly had to buy anything for the first year.

Yes my 1st 2 were surprises so had neutral colours to begin with. With my 1st I had a feeling I knew what it was but my 2nd had no idea. 3rd I found out late in pregnancy
