My son is 9 months old. He is my first and I admit I can be overprotective but his father and their entire side of the family has been giving me such a hard time about not wanting to put him in daycare or be babysat by any of them. I do not work and I love being with my son as much as possible. I have never even considered having anyone watch him so I could nap, take a break or whatever. I feel that I get enough of a break when his father gets home and watches him for a few hours.
I have always explained that I would feel more comfortable letting him stay at other family members homes when he is a bit older ( when he can walk and talk) but they continue to ask why he cant stay or why I dont put him in daycare. I just dont want to. I live
