Hey everyone sorry this is kinda long. I just found out a month ago that I’m pregnant with my lil cutie/handsome. I’m really in a tight situation I get to find out the gender of my lil one next week. An I have NO idea of how I’m going to reveal the gender to my parents an then my partner and his parents. Thing is our family DONT get along so I have to do 2 reveals. But I’m also on a really short budget on how much I can spend cause money is so tight. So if any of you mommas out there have a great idea on how you revealed your baby’s gender I’d love to hear

Have you seen the egg painting reveal? Buy 12eggs, hard boil them all except one (which will be the gender) paint 6 blue,6pink, take it in turns you and your partner to crack them on your forehead xx

I had my sisters wear white thrift store t shirts with “Sacra Gender Reveal 2017” on the front & " Boy or Girl?" On the back, we revealed it by using squirt guns with colored water and spraying them. Small park, dollar tree guns and decor, my dad grilled some burgers and dogs. Didnt pay much at all.

We didn’t find out the gender and waited until i delivered. It was worth the wait
I made the mistake of having 2 because of feuding in my own family and the second one was so lackluster that I think it was a waste. Have one. Whoever comes, awesome, whoever doesn’t screw them. You don’t need to accommodate anyone. It comes down to whether they love y’all enough to suck it up and have a good time.

Use a white T- Shirt and blue/pink paint. Put hand print on belly.
If you’re pregnant, tight on money, save your money. Gender reveal parties are unnecessary and a waste of money. Buy needed items for your child instead.

Just get a balloon, put some blue or white confetti in it, pop it😂do a video though so you dont gotta do it twice
You could do a box opening with a pink or blue helium balloon inside.
I did silly string from dollar tree with the bottles wrapped in white tape so you couldn’t see what color they were

Only thing I’d say is don’t follow it too much, we found out at 20weeks we were having a girl, and turns out it was a boy!!!

We filled water balloons with paint and had our family throw them at us
My partner and I got a cardboard box painted it half blue the other half pink . Hung it up . And pulled a string. Either pink or blue balloons fall out . We got everything we needed at dollar store. It was easy. Cheap. And cute
Don’t start doing two parties now. You’re having a baby and that baby is going to have birthday parties, school functions, graduation parties, etc that everyone is going to have to be at. They need to get over it. You can’t have separate parties for this kid’s entire life.

You can always get them clothing? Something like “Grandma/Grandpa to a little Prince/Princess coming (due month, 2019)”

I made cupcakes that I filled with (the gender color) icing. They all took a bite at the same time to reveal the color. Second baby I bought black balloons (so you couldn’t see through them) and the gender color confetti and pretty sparkly pieces. Had family member pop the balloon (made a mess of their house 
) did 3 separate reveals that time. Easy and cheap.
Make a cute little video and send it to them, free and noone has to get along in the same room
Do what I did, tell them “this isn’t about your guys inability to get along, its about the kids. Either act like adults and be respectful for the sake of your grandchildren or don’t bother showing up.” I don’t have the time or money to cater to the whims of adults who want to act like children. ESPECIALLY when I have children of my own

Gender balloons at Walmart are like $4
Just tell them… I don’t understand this gender reveal thing. Just have the decorations saying it’s a boy or it’s a girl for the baby shower… that way everyone knows

Or you can call them ALL on speaker and say: Hey everyone we’re having a little (fill in) in 5 months. That should give everyone time to grow up because if you can’t get along you can’t come along and if we have to choose, we choose the family we created, not the family we came from… YOUR CHOICE!!!

Just do 1 reveal and video it or live on fb. Like they said they will grow up and either come around or not. I’ve learned to live with my fam not doing much with mine and it’s been 15 almost 16 years. Just do something small like a homemade cake or balloon. I used to do reveals for people working at a party store and they aren’t that expensive. You could do it on your own with a big balloon and some confetti. We used black balloons and the ladies never knew themselves what they were having.

I would say since they don’t get along I would post the reveal for the them to see in either a nice picture maybe even a professional one or on video. I love the idea of the photos one of you and your partner holding your belly then the next of him removing his hands to reveal paint hand prints in the color of the gender!
I agree with above post, why have a party?!?! Especially if your short on cash the way it is. Save the money you would spend.for baby stuff, cause believe me your gonna need it, I never realized how many newborn diapers ya go through lol!! You can still do something cute without doing a party and you can do them separately. You can do pink or blue bids or onsies from the dollar store and put them in a dollar gift bag and then go over each of their houses. That way you only spent $5 and you did them separately. Cheap, easy, and no fights, what more can ya ask for lol!!

If your on a tight budget don’t feel like you have to do a reveal. Personally, I just started hearing of this trend. I didn’t do one for either one of my kids. You could always just tell everyone… another idea is do a video of you and your partner opening balloons. Don’t feel social pressure though to do a reveal. If your on a tight budget you should buy baby something instead. Maybe buy a girl or boy outfit and say look what i bought and boom everyone will know

Stay healthy and enjoy the miracle of pregnancy, birth of your lil miracle. Thats a wonderful miraculous gift from God, to you and your mate.
Now if your / his family arent civil and mannerable their out.
The first is so special . Explain to everyone, that your not having anything mess this up for you.

Don’t spread yourself too thin. Too bad they can’t get along for the baby’s sake. If you want to just do a box and fill it with balloons. Just open it up for the pink or blue. Pretty easy.

You should have thought about it before
Just buy a dress or cute trousers and send them a video. But I’d just wait until baby comes when you can phone them and say you have a grandson/granddaughter/niece/nephew! Cost less and lots less stress!
I used my mouth and told them. Seemed to work well
Hi mom ,dad, it’s going to be a boy or it’s going to be a girl. Do that 2 times with a smile. Probably only cost you gas money.

If you don’t want to just tell them there are several cheap things you can do. Either cupcakes or make them a card. Use eggs some hard boiled and one raw. Color the eggs. The raw colored one is what you are having.

Skip a reveal. Seriously, this is so played out in my opinion. Just give them a call or make a cute picture and be done.
