Has anyone ever freeze dried their breastmilk? I’m quickly running out of room in my freezer and don’t have the means to get a deep freeze… my husband’s boss suggested freeze drying it but I’m not sure how to use it after doing so?
You won’t be able to feed it to baby after it’s been freeze dried
I’m not sure if you’re aware of several groups of moms selling/looking for breast milk. Maybe help both mommas out.
Could always donate/sell. Lots of moms that look for donations will replace your bags. But if you aren’t planning to use your entire stash, that’s a good way to get some good use out of it. Freeze dryers aren’t cheap and I can’t imagine it would be cheap to have it done either through a company.
Ask friends or family if they have room to store…
I’m going to tell you I used donor milk on a little girl in my care that had NAS and it worked wonders!! And I thank all you ladies!
