Hi. First, I know I need to call a dr if this keeps happening but just asking to see if anyone else has experienced it and what was the reason it happened to you. Yes, I know everyone is different, not here for a diagnosis. Ok, well, my husband and I were having sex last night, and I was standing by the bed. He was behind me. Well, I feel something running down my leg, so I look down, and I’m bleeding horrible. It puddled on the floor. It wasn’t rough sex, and I felt no pain anywhere. Even today, no pain and no more bleeding. I’m just curious as to what may have happened?

It happens to me sometimes. Ling time ago me and this dude looked down and it was like a murder scene on his white blanket 
Wasnt even like super rough sex but I had NEVER bled that much before. Kinda freaked both of is out and not much does 
but idk why it happened. And hasnt to that extent in the past 11 years.

You may have opened up a dry spot or lesion during sex…But you should still get checked because there may be a reason why you have a wound or lesion inside you, could be an irregular thing that the Dr may have to prescribe something for.

In the past, I’ve bled when my cervix got hit. The first time, it bled a lot.
I’ve never had that happen to me. You should go talk to your doctor about that to figure out why you started randomly bleeding like that during sex. My fiance and I do have rough sex sometimes, but I’ve never bled like that.
Could be pelvic floor related

Yea plenty times had this issue, do see gp, but could be something or nothing. Have no idea why I have episodes of bleeding after or during sex, dosnt happen all time but once in a while, I has key hole surgery after many tests and nothing found xx
Were you late…or due your period soon? This has happened to me a few weeks before my period was due…but get yourself to your Dr. Asap

I’ve had bleeding durning sex … It was mainly caused by not using proper care of the finger nails and I got cut before the sex had started and it made it worse … I didn’t have a puddle tho sooo idk … Did he check you out after you got cleaned up ? Everything look ok ? There’s sooo many reasons why this could happen
I had a cyst burst, and i didn’t know that’s what happened lol I went to the er and after an embarrassing visit 
Thats what it ended up being.
I would go see a doctor , especially if it occurs again . Someone I know has that occur randomly during sex including clots, she finally saw a doctor and it turned out to be cervical cancer… better safe then sorry

Too many possibilities… some are nothing, some are something. Not enough information to even throw out suggestions. Are you pregnant? Did you recently give birth? Do you have an IUD? Have you gotten an STI screening and a pap recently? Have you ever had an abnormal pap? Has trauma has ever occurred to your reproductive system (not necessarily sexual - any trauma including sexual injury, surgeries, or problematic births)?
Please ask your doctor.

I bled during sex when i was pregnant. I was placed on cervical rest, they said it was normal but I couldn’t engage in activity anymore
Best go see the doctor and get checked out, could be anything
I did this. And it wasn’t normal for me. And I was bleeding during/after sex every time for 2-3 weeks. Went to dr and when he examined me I started bleeding as well. Come to find out my ph balance was off and I had to take an antibiotic for 7 days. Been fine ever since

Cyst rupturing during sex can make you bleed and also so can stds
Pregnancy, BV, STI, Polyps… could be anything… but it’s best to go to the dr

Could be cervical cancer…get a checkup!!
Better go to a gynecologist and find out the cause of The bleeding event!

Could you be pregnant? Do you have a history of cysts? Lots of reasons.
Have it checked out by your Dr.
Maybe near a menstrual cycle could have loosened up blood but otherwise seems a bit odd. I would call your doctor anyways and just see what they say
I had polyps in my uterus that would start bleeding like this. Really heavy bleeding. Not even from rough sex just sex itself.
It happened to me when I was 26 , let it go and went about my business, come to find out I had severe endometriosis. You need to get it checked out ASAP
You need to go and see the doctor, smear and gyni appointment, just to be safe love xx
Do you happen to have an IUD?
That can somtimes get hit and cut the cervix, causing some bleeding.

That happened to me when I was pregnant I started crying thinking I had a miscarriage I went to the ER everything was okay lol

Happened while pregnant with my first baby. I was only about 8 weeks along but it happened. We weren’t being rough or anything juat happened. We sat in the bathroom and i called the er they said everything should be okay its just more sensitive while pregnant. I would 100% go to the dr.
I had this happen to me 6 years after my first child w the same dad. It was horrible. Gushing out. Nothing hurt. Called Dr right away. He said could of ruptured something . if it continued to bleed then the dr would c me. never had it happen again. My kids father was a large Man. Prob y

Could be a number of reasons…Could be implantation bleeding tho. Before I knew I was pregnant with my first daughter we were having sex and next thing I knew there was blood everywhere. Best to check with a doc asap though

Go for a cervical cancer test ASAP
Happened while pregnant with my son. I thought I was miscarrying, my OBGYN checked me out and told me a blood vessel had burst on my cervix and that it was nothing to worry about. I would go get checked just to be sure

It’s hard to make a suggestion not knowing if your pregnant or not, or when your last cycle was. Definitely make a dr appointment ASAP tho!
Happen to me then bleed for 1 year. Endometriosis I had.

U need a smear test ASAP I had this, and I had abnormal and severe abnormal cells, I had to have it lazered
I had fibroid tumors and had one burst. Could be that.

Never normal, unless you’re on your period. Especially puddling!
Some spotting can be if you’re dry, but never it dripping.

Was the blood dark red or bright red?
I would go to the Dr myself. I go through this almost every time we do. I also have a tilted uterus too.

I had a fibroid removed in 2018 but I didn’t have no problems before that but then I started having no period the doctor did a pap smear and all that and everything was fine he said it might hormones were high and that was probably why that I had stopped but back in December of this year I was literally pouring after not having one for a year and it lasted like 10 days of just pouring I couldn’t even go anywhere every time I would set up it would be all over me it was bad but then it stopped again now I noticed today there’s just a little light pink there but nothing started I would definitely get checked out by doctor though

Sounds like fibroid tumor or endometriosis. Same thing happened to me yrs ago

I had this happen, I had endometriosis, and had had a partial hysterectomy 10 yrs before. With endometriosis, the blood flows up, well because I had my uterus removed, the doc guessed that the blood had some how passed through the lining of the vagina, and during sex, it got pushed out. Sorry if that was confusing.
Ive had that happen it was awhile after a stomach surgery. I went to gyno and it was like a loop of skin and they cut it out said it happens when things get pushed on during a surgery or afted child birth. Didnt hurt but did bleed during sex bad. Sounds crazy but true. Its been years ago i cant remember what it was called. I just explained to my gyno he looked n there it was easy fix
Go see a doctor so you’re not freaking out over these answers. This is def worth a visit to a professional. Specifically an obgyn.

Yeah that’s happened too me before I can’t explain either it’s just something that happens sometimes it could just be the way you where having sex with your husband I couldn’t. Make sense of it. Myself I was confused

Can you add that I had a baby 18 months ago, im not pregnant and my period had been over by a week by then. I had cancerous cells on cervix back in 2011 but none since having those removed. I think that covers all the questions being asked.
Please make an appointment with your doctor asap, I had bleeding after sex and my period kept getting heavier, found out I had B-Cell Lymphoma, which I had a tumor inside my uterus, the only time I bleed was after sex and my period.
