Helpful advice needed

Question, how many mommas in here have been to jail. Like I’m currently in trouble for something I didn’t know was punishable by prison/jail time and I’m sooo worries about being separated from my kids. I understand if I don’t wanna go to jail I should be mindful of what I do. Mistakes happen and this was a huge mistake to never be repeated again!

I lived in Tennessee and had tenncare on my children. I lost my apt and moved in with my boyfriend. It wasn’t supposed to be permanent but ended up being and I didn’t report my address change. Yes i screwed up and in no way meant to defraud the government. No I didn’t try to get KY assistance while on TennCare. I’m looking for helpful advice and encouragement. Please don’t be rude I’m upset enough.

I’m not sure I understand, if all you did was not report an address change that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. If you moved out of state & still continued to use your benefits from Tennessee, that they might make a bigger deal about. If you haven’t heard anything about it, I wouldn’t worry right now. If you have heard something from them, make sure to read all the paperwork so you can make the best decision with what they’ve given you. They may just require you to make monthly payments until it’s paid off
