Yes. Usually when they check your urine they do a culture and sensitivity test to see what antibiotic Is the best to treat it with.

There is currently a class action lawsuit against the makers of Cipro. My ex-husband was given it for a bladder infection 4 plus years ago and is now experiencing Parkinson symptoms. I and many others have taken it with no ill effects. My point is why risk it? Take a different antibiotic without such known severe side effects.

Donā€™t take it. My husband suffered torn Achillesā€™ tendons in both ankles. Could feel them tearing while sitting at his desk. Boots for 2 months. Still has trouble.

I have taken it but Cipro can definitely have many side effects and has been proven to be harmful especially long term effects.

I take it occasionally for a tooth that gets infected sometimes and it makes me feel like :poop:

I had a kidney infection but I was put on something else. No side affects took it for 10 days.
