She fine as long she eating good. Let her play with it. She baby they play with the silliest things

She is becoming independent. Let her play with her bottle it won’t hurt anything. She will drink it if she is hungery.

Sounds pretty normal…

Let her be a baby while she’s a baby. She’s okay. If she wanted to drink it that badly she would.

OP RESPONSE

She isnt eating as much as she normally is. Shell eat but only about 4 of the 6 oz she normally does

She’s probably getting more calories through solids at her age.

Is it actually a problem? So long as she’s eating, I’m not sure what it could hurt to let her fiddle with it. Lol. A happy baby is a happy mom.

Until she starts taking out the nipple or squirting it everywhere leave her be. Once she starts doing that start sippy cups

It might also be time for her to eat more nutrious pureed foods? If she isn’t getting as much milk in she is about the age to start eating cereals and little (age appropriate) crackers. Then there isnt as much worry about if she is playing too much and eating enough?

At 8 months she should be eating mostly baby food and even some solid food…but when you do give her a bottle and she is messing around with it take it away for a few minutes then give it back and keep doing that

she’s discovering. leave her to it.

Ummmm, shes a baby.
Is this question for real?
Do you really not understand why shes playing with her bottle? BECAUSE SHES A BABY AND BABIES PLAY.
Is she completely starving? No, shes still eating so why dont you not be such a party pooper and let your baby freaking play.

Do some of you read the questions out loud to yourself before posting them?
Because you really need to.

My baby does this but once she’s actually hungry she’ll finish the bottle. She is also drinking less milk at 9 months but as she’s still growing and gaining weight I don’t focus much on how many oz per day she drinks anymore. She also eats baby food and crackers, toast, mashed up bananas, etc. She likes sippy cups so I just her her do whatever with them. When she’s ready to eat she eats :slightly_smiling_face:

Seriously lol let her play with it. That’s how they learn.

Maybe try using the faster flow nipples. She might be getting bored because it’s not coming out fast enough.

Time to take away the bottle, she’s ready to have a super cup

You can try spreading her bottles further apart. My kids weaned themselves off of everything, easily. When they started playing with bottles and not finishing them, I increased cereals and then baby foods at meal times, eventually only giving bottles at bedtime, & when I picked up half bottles then pacifiers up off of floor, they were eating at meal times, and not needing bed time bottles

Let her …mine are 20 months and still play with their sippy or cups . Just give her less milk maybe? Mine stopped letting me feed them by 14 months . Some kids just like to be independent and do their own thing.

It’s time for her first sippy cup! Auugh you must be so proud :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Leave her be. It’s what they do
