My son just turned 2, and he goes through 2-3 week long periods of waking up at 4 or 5 in the morning. Nothing in his routine or diet changed, he just wakes up super early instead of 6-7 like he does normally. Then, when it’s nap time, he screams and screams and refuses to lay down with me holding him and everything. He ends up not taking a nap and is absolutely miserable because he’s tired. He doesn’t seem to feel bad, other than being tired, but I noticed he’s teething. Could that be disruptive to his sleeping? It only lasts a couple of weeks and then he’s back to normal.

He could most definitely be getting his 2 year old molars…hylands oral relief tablets are great and help with the fussiness. And when he seems like he’s uncomfortable give him a dose of Tylenol it helps with the pain or fever if he does get one from the teething

Try putting him to bed between 8:30 and 9
Could be him getting his 2 year molars and such
Those 2yr molars can be super painful coming in. And can disrupt normal patterns of any daily activity or night time sleep.
