How can I lower my blood pressure without taking meds? is there anything i can eat?

Bananas/ potassium can help to lower blood pressure.

Wholegrains and oats. Avoid palm oil, coconut and almonds. Make sure you take time to truly relax. Try and eat a healthy diet and lose a bit of weight.

My Dr. Put me on the dash diet, exercise, & medication. I made her aware that I didn’t want to be on blood pressure medication long. My’n was running quit high. I’m still on medication. However I’ve only been on it about 6 months. We’re still trying to find the right magic number for the medication, and I may need to try something new. But the Dr. Made me aware of that from the beginning.
Edit- the Dr. Has lowered the dose of medication by hafe.

The best thing you can do is have another conversation with your Dr. About it.

If you’re overweight, lose weight. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, cut out salt, and if you’re sedentary, start to move. Single, “normal” sized servings of good, no seconds. Read up on counting calories and fat grams.

Tart cherries, drink cherry pomegranate juice.
