I took my daughters at about 2 one night when she went to sleep. When she looked for it the next day I told her the dummy fairy must have came and taken it for all the baby fairies now that she’s a big girl. We drew pictures of the dummy fairy and all the baby fairies with their dummies but she did sook for a week because she kept finding other dummies in toyboxes, if I’d bothered to clear them all out first it would have only been 2-3 days and she didn’t care anymore instead
I would just take all the paci‘s and toss them. Put him to sleep with the paci and once he’s passed out, take it out and toss it. Pat his bum gently back to sleep when he wakes up. It’ll be stressful for the both of you but he won’t think about it after a few days or so. Give him a teething ring to bite and play with instead. You could try a white noice machine at night and for naps. Best of luck mama!

Throw it away, if he’s fine as long as he doesn’t see it then make that permanent.
