It depends in the person more than it does the type its not a one size fits all, I was on a pill that apparently didnt work for me which led to twins. I cant do IUDs bc of andometreosis and when I tried the nexplanon I got an allergic reaction; I dont like shots so I just use the nuvaring which worked for me. You have to check with your gyno and regular doctor not just one

More effective than the pull out and pray method.
