So I’m a first time mama. I’m 23 & 3 right now. I know because its my first baby most people say it may take a little longer to feel him move, I think I can feel him sometimes but I’m not 100% sure. I guess my question is, how far along were you before you could really feel baby move?
16 weeks were flutters 17 weeks was for sure babe , this is my 3rd and it was same week for all.
19 weeks with number 1, 16 weeks with number 2v
Up until i was about 5/6 months it was just flutters for me. And then from then on out it was baby
I felt mine around 20 weeks with my first, my 4th and last child i had an anterior placenta and barely ever felt her and when i did it was very soft compared to the other 3.
Depends on your height and shape too.
Usually about 18 weeks for my first three. I’m currently pregnant with my fourth and it took til almost 23 weeks to feel movement.
Depends on YOU & your body. I’m very thin so I felt mine earlier than my sis or friends.
I’m a ftm too and I started feeling my baby girl at 19 weeks, I’m 21 almost 22 weeks now and I’ve started feeling her a lot more frequently and her kicks have gotten stronger! Everyone is different!
I felt my first at 15 weeks, but it was very light flutters so I almost thought I imagined it the first time
It feels like gas/butterflies at first. You may not even notice it yet. You will probably start to feel more distinct kicks in the next few days/weeks
16.5-17 weeks with my first and 12ish weeks with my second. I didn’t feel really strong movements with #1 until I was about 23-24 weeks though.
If your placenta is in the front it can take longer to feel as well…with my first my placenta was in front it was about 20-22wks when I really started to feel light kicks. Before that it was almost like on a rollercoaster getting that “drop” feeling… like baby was rolling around.
I remember being at a ultra sounds at 19 weeks and he was moving and I could feel it.
I’d say during this pregnancy (#3) I felt very good movement around 20 weeks and during my 1st and 2nd pregnancies maybe a week or 2 earlier then 20 weeks
But it was only little flutters here and there with my first two pregnancies. I didn’t feel any of that with my 3rd because of my planceta placement. I only can feel the really strong movements and I’m 3 days shy of turning 23 weeks
Honestly, i dont rightly remember its been so long for me lol but at 23 weeks baby is 11 inches long and weighs a little over a pound so yeah, im pretty sure you can feel him moving now
thats the best thing about being pregnant, feeling baby wiggle
I think it depends on how in tune to your own body you are. I felt my son move around 15 weeks, and then it just kept getting stronger and more frequent as time went on.
I’m a FTM as well and I’m currently 17 weeks and just started to feel little movements. I can only feel them when I am sitting and laying in certain positions for an extended amount of time. It’s very infrequent too some days I feel a lot and some days I feel really nothing.
I felt her around 25 weeks, I’m 35 now
First time I was around 18 weeks when I felt flutters… Around 23-25 when I felt him actually move… with my other 2 pregnancies I felt movement sooner
With my first I felt him around 20wks and with my second around 18wks. The first time is harder to tell bc you’re not exactly sure what its going to feel like.
I felt him move right around 6 in a half months, I felt he moved a lot being my first baby we did have days where there wouldn’t be much movement but overall he moved a lot.
I was 24 weeks with my girl its scary to have to wait so long but they wont stop moving soon! Towards the end i had constant pain in my ribs from her squirming. Itll happen!
when i was pregnant with my daughter i felt her at around 15ish weeks
I was 4 months along before I felt anything. Every woman is different. Also depends on weight. Heavier mothers take a bit longer to feel movement
I was almost 30 weeks. My anterior placenta blocked me from feeling anything for a long time.
I’m currently 36 weeks.
I felt my baby move at 15 weeks but I thought it was just gas lol but I was definitely feeling the movements by 19 weeks.
I was anout 17 or 18 weeks along.
It almost feels like butterflies
Sometimes you cant feel them move. I was always going to doctor to check heartbeat.
I was 21 weeks before I knew for sure what I was feeling was baby kicks!
You ptobably are feeling him. I cant remember exactly when I started feeling my first, its been iver 9 years, but I remember her moving all over the place at my 20 weeks ultrasound.
I was 16 weeks when I felt my baby boy move I thought for ages I could feel him and then one night I was deffo sure it was the weirdest but most beautiful feeling in the world! I think it depends on where the placenta is and weight plus every woman is different! Don’t worry though you will know for sure when you feel those amazing little kicks and punches x
My first son I was about 20 weeks, with my second it was about 17 weeks
I felt the first movements about 13-15 weeks when I had my twins. It was more of a fluttery squirmy feeling in my lower abdomen and only when I laid on my back and did move.
Everyone is different, you could have an anterior placenta.
I was about 17-18 weeks when I knew for sure I was feeling her.
u feel him move on da, 4th month
12 weeks I started feeling butterfly type feelings.
18 weeks I felt actual movements.
I felt my baby start moving at 15weeks
I was like 17 weeks when I felt my daughter and I could also feel her on the outside with my hand
15 weeks. I started feeling her two days before I went to an early gender reveal. Went in convinced she was a boy, and she gave the sonogram scanner a dirty ass look right before we saw that she was a girl lol
I was 26 weeks and it felt like bubbles were popping in my abdomen area
I felt the light movement at 15 weeks for the first time, and the real big movement at 17 weeks. It was my first pregnancy.
I’m 25 weeks with my second and I feel her now but it’s still like sporatic. I always freak myself out when I don’t feel her and try to make her move lol. Every time I get an ultrasound ( which is a lot cuz I’m high risk) they always tell me.how active she is, but I only feel her sometimes. Try drinking like ice cold juice, or sometimes if you lay down and like lay on your side for a bit then on your back, kinda reposition yourself could make her move. Or eat something sweet sometimes work. Give it time you’ll start feeling it and knowing for sure. It’s.normal right now for you not to feel her right now or to still like feel those flutters and not be sure. I know it sucks but it’s normal
Butterfly movements I was about 16 weeks and actually heavy hard movement about 22-23 weeks. 24 weeks when my husband could feel her kick on the outside
18 weeks with my first 14 weeks with my second I started feeling flutters and by 17 weeks full on moving
With my first I was 14 weeks with my second I was 16 weeks but my placenta was in between her and my belly button so that’s why it was later. In the beginning it just feels like a butterfly, or super duper light gas, so you probably are feeling them but not recognizing it as the baby. It does also have a lot to do with your weight, if you were super thin when you got pregnant you may feel it sooner.
I was around 19 weeks
At this stage you could feel little butterfly movements. Most feel them earlier than this but it’s different for everyone and it depends on your size and how sensitive you are.
About 19/20 weeks but everyone is different!
15 weeks on the dot. He hasn’t stopped moving since:joy:
22 weeks I knew it was baby
Four and half monts.
I felt my daughter for the first time at 18 weeks…I wondered how will I know it’s the baby? Oh you definitely know when you feel it
17 weeks first time, 18 weeks second time, 18-19 weeks this time.
21 weeks its kinda feels like ripples or flutters at first. You will feel it when you feel it. And if your not sure it was movement but never felt that before you were pregnant its probably movement lol
I believe I was about 18 weeks when I could feel my little one start to kick.
Try drinking a glass of orange juice and laying down and really focus on movements. If your really worried go in to be seen!
Around 12-16 weeks for me. Although mine had hiccups all the time so I definitely felt her all the time.
Around about 4 months I was sure. Thought I felt it prior but thought maybe it was gas as the movement was horizontal. When it was vertical I knew for sure. Good luck!
I was 18 weeks with my first and 16wks with my 2and one
Ill be 21 weeks monday and ive been feeling my baby move a lot but it really just depends on you
If it’s taking you longer to feel baby, you might have an anterior placenta, which acts like a cushion and mutes the kicks some.
I felt a flutter at like 12 weeks a couple times. Then nothing until about 20 weeks
I didn’t feel mine for a long time. I learned at almost end of my 2nd pregnancy that my son was somehow behind the placenta or something like that and that my uterus is all weird as hell so that was the reason why i didnt feel them move u til the end almost. It was really scary for me because i didnt feel normal and I always felt like something was wrong with them but thankfully thwy were both fine and healthy
When I was pregnant with my first she felt like butterflies in my stomach the doc told me that that is her moving once she got to be about 3 pounds she started moving more and then I could really feel her
17 weeks the first time can still remember as if it was yesterday. Blessed …
With my first, it was at about 5 months or so I felt him move. Congratulations to you! Soak in every minute of it!
My two boys were around 25 weeks my daughter about 16 weeks she is now 2 and has not stopped moving.
With my 1st baby I was bout 16 weeks but I’m pretty petite. I didn’t look pregnant until I was 8 months
3 weeks with both of mine, it felt like butterfly wings, or little gas bubbles
