The dr should of told you that. It takes a month to take effect. And you should still use other precautions for the first month to second month. But always remember no birth control or condoms is never 100% effective

Can be up to 3 months to see changes in periods etc but should be 2 days from the fist dose to stop iunwanted pregnancies
