How long did it take you to recover from a hysterscopy, uterine biopsy, D&C with an Ablation?Just want to take the necessary days off of work. Dr. Is telling me a week. Some friends are telling me 2 days. But I notice I’m having more done. Than just an Ablation. Thanks Ladies!!

I would take your doctors word. They know what you’re having done and know the turn around time

Listen to your doctor, honestly, I took 2 weeks, bc I had the time, and it took me about 10 days to feel normal after same procedure. Plus, if you take a week and you’re better in 2 days, you’ll have a few days to rest, but if you take 2 days and need a week… we’ll those days will be bad.

Just a day. I had all that done and it’s not painful after.
When I scheduled my hysterectomy they told me to be prepared to be down for up to six weeks. (Haven’t had it yet)
I had a full hysterectomy in February.I was in hospital 1 day in theater just over an hour.
I never had any pain and was back to normal straight away.

I just had an ablation yesterday and my nexplinon surgically removed due to it being lost. Doctor told me 2 days, but I am taking 5 days because once I am on the schedule, I have to go no matter how I feel.

Recovery is dependent on the person and any other health conditions and medical complications that could arise as a result of the procedure. If you have any type of pain condition like Fibromyalgia, a collagen disorder like Ehlers Danlos or any type of bleeding or clotting disorder you should account for as much time as possible for recovery for any known or unknown issues. I have never done an ablation or any of the other things but from other procedures I have had done I had twice the recovery as someone else due to additional health concerns and issues. Only you and your medical team can best assess what a proper recovery time will be for your individual situation
