Breastfeeding mamas- how many ounces do your 9-10 month babies drink a day? I exclusively breastfeed but I will be going away for the weekend. It’s my first time leaving him so of course I’m overthinking all the things
For breastfed babies the general rule is 1 to 1 1/2 ounces per hour. Breast milk changes in composition so you never have to increase with age the way you do formula.
So in a 24 hour period, 24-36 ounces. Make sure the care giver knows how to pace feed.

It’s supposed to be 1-1.5oz per hour you’re separated. My current breastfed baby doesn’t take a bottle though.

If you pace feed, baby should never have to intake more than 3-4oz per feeding.
