If youâre trying to convince, surely you should know or be slightly aware of how a cycle works regarding ovulation and the time it takes the egg to fertilise which would then answer this question? Please educate yourselves if youâre wanting to get pregnant and have a baby itâs not as easy as just having sexâŚ

With my first test came back negative and was 10 weeks I had periods still and second I was 2-3 weeks and had no period
The first day of your expected period is the most accurate

Wait until you know you missed you period. It will be the most accurate that way. I have had 2 kids and currently 17 weeks with twins. I never tested until a missed period

It says it on the pregnancy tests too. 5 days before your expected period. I would really wait until your missed period though.

Wait until your period doesnât show, and then do a test 
Follow the instructions on the box of the pregnancy test. Each tests will tell you how soon their products will indicate pregnancy.

I took a test 8 days after I ovulated and Iâm currently 5 weeks & 4 days pregnant with baby #2
I had a faint line 4dpo and a digital positive 9dpo

After your expected period. That my answer. Iâm sure everyoneâs is different. Those who suffer from infertility, endo, and other reproductive issues have different approaches. Mentally it can be upsetting so I would wait until a missed period
Be patient. People struggle with infertility and it is hard not to get ahead of yourself, but taking tests too early will only make u sad when they pop up negative. I always wait til the day of my period, but I believe the box says 5 days before your expected period.

What I donât understand is why the heck the page couldnât just answer this for her without making it a freaking post. reading directions on the tests themselves is a good start. itâs not about how long after sex. Itâs about how long after your period is missed. Check the box. Some can detect like 3 days before youâre due for your period, others you have to wait until you miss if. Use your first pee of the day. Follow the instructions

Science would say about a two weeks. Conception isnt instant it takes hours⌠And of course the changes wont be apparent until youve been pregnant a while. Pregnancy hormones get stronger the longer youre pregnant so taking a test too early will possibly give you a false negative. There are tests that claim to be extra sensitive and can tell quite early but even then im not sure results would be accurate.
Two weeks would be my advice.

Youâre best bet is not until after your first missed period. Just wasting money otherwise.
You can take one anytime you want but if you want an accurate reading you need to wait a day or two after you miss your period. Otherwise you are wasting your money it takes a couple of weeks for your body to have high enough hcg levels.
