They have cream that’s for facial hair, if she doesn’t wanna wax or pluck
Try both waxing and plucking and let her decide what she likes … im lucky my girls have light hair so have realy light eyebrows
Wax it! I was 15 I think. She’ll love it!!
I take my 9 yr old with me to watch me get my eyebrows waxed lol helps to prepare her for the lovely future of being a lady. Maybe do a girls spa day out and show her the ropes?
Get a gentle dipilatory cream. Sally Hansen makes a good one for facial hair. I use it probably once a month for my unibrow and lip hair. She would need your help to place the cream, leave it set for I’d say 5min max and then clean with a damp rag. Apply the soothing cream that comes with it. And done! I’ve been using it for years and have never had any issues with burns and I have very sensitive skin.
Eh, I take my girls to get theirs done, we kinda make a day of it.
I was getting my beautiful Italian daughter’s upper lip and eyebrows waxed since 11…now at 13 we are doing laser hair removal…in between sessions we use this …no big deal…and yes kids are mean at this age so best to take care of it so her self esteem isn’t scattered Good luck
Give her the choice but tell her the truth about each one. If you do the waxing be prepared to pay for the follow up appts.
She’s not too young to learn how to use tweezers and Why would it freak her out she’s 11 or take her to get them waxed she’s old enough
Get your daughters eyebrows waxed. She doesn’t like it. The kids will pick on her. Age has nothing to do with this!
Shave it with a face razor.
Olivia Weinreich what’s the eyebrow shaver thing that mom used with us??? I feel like it would come in handy in this situation.
Please wax it take her to a professional and just do the middle that way the embarrassing feature is gone and she can decide how she wants them shaped as she grows into her adult body
I have been waxing my daughter’s eyebrows since she was 9 because they were so hairy!
Your already shaving her pits just wax the brow
Make it fun for her, have a girls day and make an appointment to get her eyebrows done at a salon.
Give her a special day at a spa type place. She could get the unibrow taken care of and some beauty tips from a professional.
If she’s hitting puberty she’s old enough to take care of these things. Only my opinion
They have eye brow shavers!! Good luck momma I hope y’all find something they works
Wax it! she’s definitely not to young. Take her to a professional though. There’s no shame in it.
Take that girl to a competent salon and have them wax the unibrow. Have your brows done first while she watches a d ask if she wants hers done too.
Take her to get her eyebrows waxed or threaded. Do your eyebrows too so she doesn’t feel singled out. Make it a regular routine for you guys
Take her to get it waxed. We like to think we can do everything ourselves but honestly a professional will shape them so much better than we can. And it’s not expensive. U could always get urs done as well n make a spa day for u both out of it
I have one. That is very thick and noticable. I started waxing my eyebrows around the same.age for the same reason. She’s not to young. If she feels ready for it. Do not shave it tho! Unless you get one of those little touch up razors then that is okay. But trying to shave it with a normal razor will only make her eyebrows uneven.
Make it a mother daughter day go get hers wax and you get something done too
Facial razor like these .
Ugh wax it. Obviously she’s not too young if she is sprouting hair everywhere
The have little eyebrow razors. Those are what I use instead of plucking my eyebrows just because it’s quicker. But you gotta do it every few days
If she is hitting puberty then she is not to young to get it waxed. Take her in and get it done. Especially if kids are making fun of her.
take her to the salon
There’s these eyebrow “razors” I don’t know if that’s what they’re actually called but they’re not as sharp as actual razors. You can maybe try those? They sell them at most stores
Waxing is fine just keep up w it. My daughter is 11 and we wax already
If she is self conscious about it just be like, “hey, I know how to help!” And break out the tweezers/wax whatever. I’d personally opt for tweezers since there is more control. Maybe start with some hydrocortisone to help minimize pain. Or take her to a professional at least for her first time. Some great mommy/daughter bonding! Make it a fun girly day!
Take her to get her eyebrows threaded! Quick process and I personally like it better than waxing. Get yours done too so it’s not all about her.
Waxing. Dont use razors. It will make it thicker. Waxing overtime will benefit her in the long run as it will thin out the hair in that area and when she gets older wont have to wax as much. I highly doubt she will regret it and be like i waxed my eyebrows and now i cant grow an unibrow back… (i only say this because “too young” usually means something they may refret later.
This could work well for that
Wax is the way to go. She will thank you later
Have you asked her how she feels about it?
I get mine threaded and feel like it last a lot longer then anything else.
They have an eyebrow clippers. No pain at all. My son is 12 and I noticed in pictures that his unibrow was BAD. I just told him that it was driving me crazy and he said fix it for me mom. Used the clippers. No pain and hes happier about it.
Take her to a profesional. Make a fun day out of it. Take her to get her nails done after
Take her to a hair salon and let her get her hair done and have it waxed. I’m sure it will make her feel much better about it that way.
I started waxing my eyebrows in middle school. I’d take her on a Friday after school so she has the weekend for the redness to go away
My daughter one, and I one day told her we have a really uni in our family and that I pluck mine. Told her if she wants I can do it for her, she didn’t. Let her know where the tweezers are, said if she wants to try she’s welcome to it, and to never ever over pluck. One day she was just ready and came out with two. I do recommend waxing for the first time so she gets the right shape and can just trim it on her own from now on. Waxing doesn’t hurt much. Lots of people find it soothing
My grandson has me pluck his when he comes to visit. He’s 17
Coconut oil and a eyebrow razor
Ah, I had the same thing when I was her age. My mom took me with her to the place she got her wax done. We both got our eyebrows done, had lunch, did a whole thing. I am 26, I wax my face myself now, and only have to do my eyebrows fully a couple times a month. Just kept it clean with tweezers
Girl just do the waxing. Y’all making parenting so hard for yourself. No way would I let my child walk around uncomfortable when there is a simple solution. USE COMMON DAMN SENSE.
Ask her how she would like to deal with it. Maybe she likes it, maybe she wants to get rid of it. And if she does want to get rid of it, give her the option, and let her have her own agency.
Try waxing (maybe you can go to a salon together and make it a 'spa girl time’s experience so it’s more fun and less scary.
Get her the flawless brows it’s a life saver and not painful
Make her an appointment at Ulta at the brow bar… those people are so amazing and they help and they’re very knowledgeable!! I think an appointment is only $40
If it bothers her take her to get it waxed,
Go with her somewhere and get your eyebrows waxed together.
If tweezers freak her out then other hair removal methods aren’t going to be much better. Either she accepts tweezers or the unibrow.
We have a place not too far that does threading for $6.
Honestly I would ask her. I had a bit of one at that age and I was soooo self conscious about it. I would have happily tweezed if I was allowed to do so.
I hate plucking so I shave them with those face razors. Helps shape them too. Just use moisturizer to avoid ingrown hair.
Try these eyebrow razors! A good start and pain free
Just tell her you guys are going to get Valentine’s Day makeovers and both go get eyebrows done and hair styled
Maybe plan a girls day threading eye brows nails hair cut then maybe lunch after
I’m not sure when would be a good age for waxing. I mean, it’s just removing hair. You can always ask the person doing it to keep her natural shape so she doesn’t look older and that would do it. I’m sure she will be happy and really I’m not even sure if there is supposed to be an age for that.
I have 2 very hairy girls, I can already notice upper lip hair. I’m trying to get mentally ready for when it start bothering them, I’m not sure I will worry a lot about their age if it’s 7 I guess it will have to happen at that age. I think for young ladies nowadays it’s very important that they are happy with their image, this is a cruel world we live in.
Good luck mama!
They have an eyebrow shaper at Walmart you can buy for maybe $20
take her to get her hair done and get her eye brow(s) done make a day of it go to lunch etc
Take her to have her brows threaded , it’s not intimidating and painful like tweezers, she’ll probably enjoy it , and it will solve this issue, or you could use one of those tiny little razors, they are for feminine hygiene, but work wonderfully on brows , puberty is hard , I hope this helps
Take her to the beauty shop and get her eye brows done, don’t do it yourself the first time !
Take her to the salon and get it waxed .
Wax. Waxing helps the hair grow in thinner. Same goes for underarms, legs…
I took my daughter and had hers waxed and made a fun day. Nails too. When you get older you have to groom yourself.
Ask her what she wants to do explain waxing, tweezing, ect. My mom wouldn’t let me shave at age 11. So far your doing great mama
Take her for a day of beauty at your local spa.
I use these to shape my eyebrows and I love them. They’re pain free and easy to use. You could use something like this and work up to waxing tweezing etc.
My son is 13yo and has been waxing his for a year now! He LOVEs it! He feels so grown up and makes him feel better afterwards. Here is a picture after our last appointment. I go every 5wks but my son goes like 5-15wks depending in the grow back.
I had a great unibrow as well until I was around 15, then I started plucking. Now they are getting further and further apart and I fear they’ll be off to the side of my face soon
Tell her one of the highest paid models out there owned the shit out of her unibrow and does not care what anyone says
Look up sugar waxing, you can make it at home and not painful at all.
I use this for my daughter. It works pretty good. Comes w little brushes to clean it doesn’t hurt. My daughter will be 11 next month.
They have eyebrow shavers can buy a big pack for a few dollars and they work great
How is waxing different than tweezing? You are literally doing the exact same thing just different methods. That makes no sense.
If she’s self conscious about it then just ask her if she wants to go get her brows done
Take her out for girls salon and both have brows done
Why not use an electric trimmer
I use Finishing Touch Flawless Brows Eyebrow Pencil Hair Remover and Trimmer. It is wonderful…works on my mustache too and does not hurt one bit like waxing and tweezers do.
Uhhh I was my 3yos lol
Waxxxxx tht shit …sheez not to young …she will thank you …yall i had this lil mustache as a kid …and wished some one helped meee !! Got called maurice all the time
Waxing is so much cleaner than shaving and it will take longer to grow back. Take her to a legit waxing salon.
How is it hard for you to talk to your own daughter about a unibrow lol does she want to be made fun of or not
Please don’t use razors!!
Try threading.
Make a date day to go get your self and your daughters eye brows done! She will be excited to spend some time with you but also not so embarrassed when she realizes it’s a normal thing women deal with
Just get it waxed !! Make it a spa day
Make a spa day with her and use the face nair so she doesn’t freak out
tell her it just needs 2 be kept “groomed” etc, like shaving armpits.
I had mine first waxed in 7th grade. HOWEVER, I ended up preferring threading but I know it’s not for everyone.
Take her to the salon and have them done with a haircut. Make a fun day of it like it’s nothing out of the ordinary to do.
They have trimmer made for that they cost around 10 bucks but worth it
Wait until she brings it up and then make suggestions. Let her pick what she would like to do.
Wax it! I got my legs and armpits waxed at that age, nothing wrong with waxing
Not too young for waxing. And a really good esthetician can also discuss other/additional ways for your girl to care for her skin, hair and overall appearance. I can make the same suggestions to my daughter as the esthetician and she will ignore me but do exactly what the esthetician says to do…lol
Tweeze that unibrow!
Take her to a pro for an eyebrow wax.
My daughter was the same. One little wax strip down the middle and done.
