I agree with above, have you thyroid checked.

Be happy the way you are show your kids that you are enough and happy the way you are .

I would definitely go to the doctor and get them to run tests and blood work. And take the referrals for the specialists too unless ur insurance doesnā€™t require it. Thatā€™s the way Iā€™ve been my whole life and I have a lot wrong with me and still trying to figure stuff out. Iā€™m not trying to freak you out bc it might not be but wanted to throw it out there bc I donā€™t want anyone going through what I have.

Im in the exact same boat!! :frowning:

If you have any time to yourself, trying working out. It did help me. Iā€™ve been a rail my whole life. Got picked on for it, so I hid my body. I did free weights, squats, floor exercises. Check out Instagram. There are a ton you can saveā€¦

Have you had your thyroid tested?

Start bulking. Search on google. You have to eat 3 hefty meals a day, snacks in between. Drink milk with your breakfast/dinner. Lots of protein, carbs and whole foods. I just started this week!!

Protein shakes my mom use to drink these to put on some weight before she passed away.

Donā€™t mind the music but this is a good high protein smoothie to try

I struggle with that everyday momma. I was 135 before my kids and I was happy with how I looked once I had my daughter I went down to a solid 99lbs after her until I quit breastfeeding after a year and Iā€™m 5,8ā€ so Iā€™m tall I look extremely skinny I was 21-22 in size 00 after having a baby I didnā€™t look healthy at all. Then when I quit breastfeeding I got to about 125 but couldnā€™t gain anymore after that then had my son breastfed him for a year also and was around 110 the whole time Iā€™m breast fed and when I stopped I couldnā€™t get any higher that 118-120 now Iā€™m pregnant so gaining some weight but just figured my kids love me no matter how I look so why should I care my kids love me and I always want them to be confident in the way they look so I show confidence in myself for them. You just have a high metabolism thatā€™s just how it is momma!

You have to eat 5-6 meals a day. Eat turkey, chicken, nuts specially cashews. Donā€™t go for eating unhealthy. Go to a gym do weights. Try getting a trainer so you can learn how to properly use the machines & exercise. & Girl if you want to gain weight (good muscle & healthy fat) you will need to learn to love weights. Plus doing this will teach your daughters a healthy lifestyle. Best of luck!!:two_hearts:

Pint of ice cream a day

Had trouble gaining weight and keeping what I had. I made PBJ on egos. Only problem was I loved them and needed stop eating them every day.

Worry about being healthy than looking healthy.

I would try working out, and try some supplements

I have had a couple of friends with the same problem - until they reached their late 30ā€™s - then pow - - now they are overweight. Just eat healthy, take vitamins, check with your doctor to make sure everything is okay - --.

If your thyroid has been checked and itā€™s okā€¦there is nothing to do but accept what the good Lord gave you.
My mother was the same way and she realized that her lot in life was to be very thin.

Honestly I was the same until my late in life baby. Just because youā€™re small doesnā€™t mean you canā€™t be confident, comfortable and happy.

I have the same problem itā€™s from a very high metabolism with my first child I gained a total of 25 lbs and my son is very healthy but he has my high metabolism and with this pregnancy I have only gained about 10 or so lbs but I have been sick though out this hole pregnancy this time and my baby doesnā€™t let me eat much too

Iā€™ve been underweight and it is not fun. It went on for 10 years and no answer was ever found. My grandfather went through it 9 months longer than me. They tried to blame it on old age until I went to an appointment with him, I was 5ā€™7" tall and weighed 116. We let the doctor talk about 5 minutes before I stood up and asked him if I looked healthy. Obviously not. When my oldest son was 26, it started with him and lasted 7 years, I worry my other son will go through this. And last year it started all over again with me. Iā€™ll be 57 this month. The 26 year old son is now 40. He did genetic testing. Nothing was found. The best advice I can offer is live your life to the fullest. Let your kids see you can be happy no matter what life throws at you. As long as you SHOW confidence in yourself to them, it should not become an issue for them. Iā€™m NOT saying donā€™t ever let them see you down, because seeing you down can also teach them great life lessons. Do the best to enjoy your kids and life.

Maybe you should check in with the nutritionist also check with your PCP and make sure there are no genetic reasons why you arenā€™t gaining weight you just may have a very high metabolism and process things quickly as long as you are healthy thatā€™s the most important thing and that your daughter knows youā€™re healthy is more important. Always check with the doctor before doing anything itā€™s better advice than anything youā€™re going to find on Facebook good luck in your journey

I used to be the same way. I ate like a horse, and was thin as a rail. I finally got curves in my late 40ā€™s, and am now almost 60, and could probably stand to lose about 20 pounds. But you know what? I wish Iā€™d have had these hips when my kids were babies, and Iā€™m pretty proud of them now. If youā€™re healthy, embrace being thin. Menopause does wonders! :+1:t2:

Know your pain. I was extremely thin all my life. I finally reached 115# after the birth of my last child at the age of 31. I am now 20# overweight. Lol.

Try insure plus, that was my miracle worker. I had tried everything and nothing worked. I was 98 pounds at age 25, I was unhappy. Believe me, that totally worked for me.

I was the same, never couldnā€™t have more weight, but Iā€™m happy with that because I would never be fat

Youā€™ve described me to a tee here. Ok so what i have to do, which works slowly but eventually for me , I drink MRE meal replacement, Blueberry cobbler or banana nut bread is to die for mixed with milk. I drink at least 500-1000 a day along with my regular eating. It tastes amazing but it is kinda pricey. About 70-80 every 2 months for me

i weighed 100 lbs until i hit my mid 30ā€™sā€¦finally started putting weight on naturally, so donā€™t worry too muchā€¦it may come on you a little laterā€¦

Be sure to get checked for thyroid disease. You need a full workup - not just a simple tsh blood test. See an endocrinologist or a functional medicine doctor.

If you are meant to be that way be happy about.Iā€™m sure lots of people envy you as I do.Your metabolism is what keeps you that way.

God doesnā€™t make mistakes. He loves you just the way you are. You should too.

Hypothyroid-ism . My wife lived with it before being diagnosed .45 + years . Treatment was to neutralize her thyroid with a radioisotope capsule she ingested . A prescription replacement is then introduced .

I was very thin until I got my reproductive hormones balanced. Turned out I had low estrogen.

Get a thorough physical including full blood work. A thyroid check may be in order.

Hey, follow me around for a day, I can show you howā€¦lol

How can I be comfortable in my under active thyroid problems

I weighed 100 lbs when I got pregnant first time. Only gained 20 lbs. w/ 1st son
gained 23 lbs w/
2nd son
gained 67 lbs w/ daughter
Other than that I now at age 61 weigh about 115.
So my advise is. If you were overweight you would be teaching ā€œbody acceptance ā€œ
We as small ladyā€™s much learn to accept our own body. Be proud. As long as you are healthy I donā€™t see a problem!!

Eat Big Macā€™s and drink lots of beer.

Eat lots of carbs. Bread donuts crackers .

I would try to switch your focus from the way you look to how you feel. Set some small workout goals and youā€™ll find a lot of confidence in achieving them. Accept your body for what it is its beautiful and capable of amazing things just start looking at the things you love about your body even though it doesnā€™t necessarily look the way you want thatā€™s just one thing. Physical and mental health are much more closely connected than they seem.
