Back story information;
I have a 4 month old, we have had a fairly successful breastfeeding journey so far. I work 4 days a week. I typically pump in the morning, go see my baby on lunch so he can nurse, and then pump later in the afternoon. I am no longer pumping at night.
I’ve started having horrible night sweats that wake me up. The other week I noticed my left breast wasn’t producing as much as my right, so I made a mental note to have him feed from the left side first each time. Yesterday it still seemed to be lagging, and then I started my period!
Today it seems like both breasts are less full.
I’m worried something is very wrong. Has anyone experienced this? Any sure fire ways to ramp my milk back up?
Periods can cause a temporary drop in supply.

Its normal for boobs to feel soft and not full! You can aleays increase pumping if you need more output, but after a few months your breasts aren’t going to be firm all the time! Totally normal!

I would pump at night too, the more you stimulate them the more you make

This was my question, and I thank you all so much! I will start pumping at night, try the boobie batter and the calcium and magnesium supplements.
I’m shocked to have started my period… I though it didn’t start back up until nursing had ended.
