Get lots of cardio each day. Anything to get your blood pumping and body sweating, for atleast 30 hour. Up it gradually. If your doing weights, esp do the cardio 45mins to an HR prior to. Get out and run or get a treadmill.

Change your eating habits!

Drink your water and eat your daily fruits and veggies. Don’t eat crap :woman_shrugging:t3: lol

Our bodies are in sync with the circadian rhythm of the earth. Don’t eat anything past 7pm and fast until 10 am. Some Drs claim that if you adhere to this you dont have to change WHAT you eat, just WHEN you eat.

Take the baby on walks with you. I used to walk 2 miles a day when my kids were little.Make it fun for them, stopping at a park, ECT

eat healthy snacks if you eat the and teach baby at the same time. There are lots of work outs. Find one and get baby to do with you then it’s play time and another good lesson. Yes walk with baby and find things to look for when you do maybe spring flowers now

i cut out soda and lost 5lb in a week. :person_shrugging:t3: no change in diet otherwise.

eta, i just started this and i weigh myself when i get up and before i go to bed.

Cut calories to lose pounds, exercise to lose inches. Exercise DVDs or downloads, yoga & tai chi are gentle & your baby can try to follow with you. These also reduce stress, as does other meditation, and stress packs on the pounds. Use that tyke like a kettle ball! Pick her up, do bends (squats may be too hard on the joints) while holding her. Find something you enjoy—Mommy & me classes, or put on music & dance together, walk, jog on a mini trampoline (inside) or jump on it (outside) while baby is strapped to you.
Keep a food log for a week—or month if you can keep it up—to see where you go wrong, or what triggers emotional eating for you. Do it at the same time each day/week until it’s a habit.

Switch to brown rice, whole wheat bread & pasta, sweet vs white potatoes… Make 2/3 of your plate colorful vegetables (including breakfast!), 1/3 lean protein & have fruit for dessert. Only eat sugary sweets on special occasions (like birthdays and anniversaries, not “Wednesdays”), and eat small dessert-sized portions of carbs. Meat portions should be the size of your fist, but our meat supply has additives and growth hormones so buy organic or go vegetarian or vegan. Also think of cheese as a dessert (enjoy a small piece by itself w/o bread or cracker if it’s hard enough), not something to add to everything. Our dairy supply also has growth hormones so buy organic or cut them out or cut way back. Olive oil works well instead of butter for lots of things. Mediterranean foods & recipes are usually healthier than European foods. Eat homemade as much as you can. Restaurants use cheap carbs, meats w growth hormones, you get few vegetables or whole grains and rarely any fruit. Eat all the veggies & save 1/2 the protein & carbs to go, then add more vegetables to the leftovers. Get vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian cookbooks/online recipes & avoid any cheesy dishes. Use meat & cheese like a garnish, not the main thing. Get more protein from vegetables and whole grains. Develop go-to recipes & check your portion sizes every month as they can easily increase. Join Weight Watchers if you need someone to hold you accountable.

Are you losing it quickly when you do lose by doing things like cutting carbs to lose quickly? If so that’s why.

First, no soda or sugary drinks and no artificial sweeteners, as they actually make you hungry. Drink water and water only. IF you have to have flavor, get an infuser bottle and infuse with the fruit/veggie of your choice. Second, just he active. Walk to the park, take the stairs instead of the elevator, chase your kid, etc. No creamy dressings…clear dressing are the way to go. No ranch, blue cheese, French, etc. No processed sugars. Natural sugars from fruits are ok. When you vacuum, do a lunge with each push of the vacuum. Those few things will have you 30+ pounds lighter in 2 or 3 months.

Belly dancing! They have videos you can buy online and they kick your butt but they’re so much fun and help you lose weight quickly and tighten your stomach up. You’re gonna be sore the first week for sure but it’s worth it.

If I remember right it is 3200 calories to maintain weight and anything below will help burn excess weight. I don’t have to diet now but have all my life. I like chef salads and vegetables so that helps allot. Ensure has allot of vitamins and very few calories. I found that munching thru out the day I never got really hungry and burned off calories quicker. Probably a ‘NO’ from most people. Just what worked for me. The others have great suggestions too!!

You can exercise with your daughter at home. Dancing is great exercise and it’s fun.

Id make time to work out at home.

Do cardio at home. I started dancing with my baby. Jump dance move your hips and drink a lot of water. Thats what i started to do. I gain 100 pounds since i started having kids.

you can do cardio at home u don’t have to go to the gym. and if you cut out all carbs you will gain back your weight once you start eating carbs again

At home work outs. Healthy eating.

I would squat with my son, put him on my knees and do sit ups and make silly faces. There are a ton of home work outs that include your child. Make it fun. Plus, as they gain weight, you get stronger.

Isagenix® over anything :100:. This will give you top notch nutrition that no other program offers.

YouTube workout videos. I like Popsugar programs.

Have you heard of IF? it’s intermittent fasting and is a way of life and not a diet plan!! Get the book “delay don’t deny” it will change your life!!

Oh and get your partner or someone to watch that little sweetie for you and take some time for your own self care! So important !!

Keto. I’ve dropped 60+lbs in 4.5 months.

I feel your pain! I have Hashimoto’s and it doesn’t matter what I do, it’s very difficult to lose the weight. If you haven’t had your thyroid checked, I would start there. Your thyroid might be under active. Next to that, following a low carb, low sugar diet is the best way to go.

I would see a doctor if you’ve tried and haven’t loss weight. If ur determine I would do keto. If you are a busy woman I would stop drinking soda, eating bread, and start drinking a lot of water. Go for a walk or lift weights, just be more active. Make healthier choices and watch your portions.

Cut out what you can, refined sugars, and as many carbs and starches and fatty meats as you can let go of. Also drink nothing but water, and a lot of it. A whole bottle before eating each meal. Your pee should be clear. Don’t eat if you aren’t really desperately hungry (like don’t starve yourself or get sick, but wait until you are legit in need of food to eat) and don’t eat until you’re totally full, just eat until you aren’t hungry anymore. Then introduce cardio. Walking, jogging etc. 30-60 mins, 3-5 times per week. Then 2 15-30 min strength workouts for building muscle, like push ups, pull ups, squats, sit ups etc. Stick with it religiously for 30-60 days and see what happens. If nothing, then up your cardio, and start keeping a food diary to change your portions and figure out how many calories in vs how many calories burned. MyFitnessPal is a great app for that. You can scan bar codes or look through lists to find the food you’re eating and enter it. There’s also a website that can give you a free meal plan to fit your desired diet type and number of calories.

The goal is to make small changes you can stick with though. Diet plans are temporary. The more bad stuff you cut out and the more exercise you stick with, the better chance you have of maintaining your weight loss indefinitely.

Ive lost nearly 60lbs. I exercise regularly.I use a treadmill. I try to walk where i can. Park farther from the door. I started using the stairs instead of the elevator, I live on the 4th floor. Smaller portions. Cut out all soda or pop, whatever you call it. And juices. Cut out sweets and candy, but have a treat every now and then. Cut out fast food and processed foods. I dont drink alcohol so that was never a problem. Try to stay away from fad diets. Youll lose but gain it back fast. I have thyroid and heart issues and take meds for both. its not easy but if you work at it, itll work. Check into having your thyroid looked at if nothing is helping.

I second WW (weight watchers)! I have tried so many diets with success at first, but then can’t seem to keep it up. I love the fact that you can still eat normal foods and lose!!

Try keto start slow, it definitely works.

I just found out that my thyroid was low, so once I started medication and wasn’t so exhausted all the time it was easier to figure out and work a plan. Low carbs, high protein, no added sugars, exercise 45 minutes a day 3 days a week. Down 15 pounds in a month!

Thrive works wonders. I was 300lbs when I started lost about 120lbs. Have been able to keep it maintained. If you fill your nutritional gaps with the right nutrients makes the world of a difference.

If you’re trying different diets and exercises, and nothing taking off more than 10 pounds at a time, get tests run for an autoimmune disorder. My sister in law was dieting, working out, eating once a day at times, and no weight change. Her doctor refused to run the test even though she asked so much. She went to a different doctor, and lo and behold, autoimmune disorder. She lost 50 pounds once she changed doctors.

These are my results, 50 + pounds down. I’m a beachbody coach and we have proven programs for everyone.

Cut out added sugar!

I joined Weight Watchers a month ago and have lost 15lbs. I could never stick to counting carbs and finding recipes. I’m also a runner, so my weight loss came quickly when I cut out all the extra sugar and started snacking on fruit and veggies. The WW points really help keep you honest with yourself and mindful of what you put into your mouth :+1:t3: I do not get paid to endorse WW… it has just blown my mind that I have been so successful with my weight loss.

I lost 60 pounds by getting a Fitbit and getting my steps in and using the app to track my calories. Kept my calories in the 1200-1500 range and made sure I got at least 10,000 steps a day. No restrictions on food, just accountability. Took me 6 months.

Always best to consult your doctor first. What worked for me, without extreme amounts of exercise, is intermittent fasting and counting calories. Consume less calories than your body “needs” daily and you’ll lose weight. No high sugar food or drinks. Lots of water. To keep it off, it needs to be a lifestyle change which is why fad diets work at first then fail. Good luck!

Look into trim healthy mama. They have websites and Facebook pages.

Calorie counting is only thing that works. Making sure you’re not putting in more calories than you’re burning. I’ve lost 38 lb so far and still have lots of treats

I can only speak to what worked for me. I cut out soda and candy, used 310 shakes, and Goli ACV and went from 181 to 138.

Double the colorful vegetables, cut meat and carbs in at least half, cut out desserts except for special occasions like your birthday or Christmas.

I literally just ate small portions of everything. No bread pasta or rice. Only yogurt for lunch. Water for 2 weeks straight. Occasionally a little Gatorade. No meats. Just fish. Fruits. Small amounts. I eat 2 strawberries and a cup of yogurt. 2 Boiled eggs for breakfast. Just commit to it. It’ll work. Some workouts in the shower. Or while u watch tv. I’m down 2 sizes in 3 weeks. Good luck love. Don’t waste money on unnecessary programs that you can teach urself. There’s YouTube. Doctors on tik tok and Instagram with advice.

Work at somewhere you are constantly moving.

Rice, ground turkey/chicken & veggies all day.
Consistency!!

Drink a lot of water, even when you feel hungry first drink water ( sometimes body is tricking us thinking we’re hungry), eating good and clean foods ( fruits, veggies), cut sugar and breads out and move atleast 30 minutes. You will not only loose weight but feel better too. Good luck :slightly_smiling_face:

Talk to a dietician. What works for one person may not work for you. Everybody is different and the best way to get success loosing weight, and keeping the weight off is to work with someone certified to help people do that. It’s also best to talk to your general care dr before going on any type of diet plan to make sure it won’t interfere with any meds you may be taking or health conditions you have.

Do not eat evening meal. Watch what you eat mornin & noon. Lots of water. The first week will be hard - it does get easier - but it does work

Drink water, cut out soda, watch what you eat and how much, and exercise

Intermittent fasting, healthy eating and fasting. I shed weight like crazy when fast

Fasting & exercise combined

I use herbalife nutrition and exercise

Intermittent fasting

  1. use something like MyFitnessPal to log everything.
  2. calorie deficit
  3. find an accountabuddy.
  4. sign up for 5k, 10k walk/runs and train to set a PR each time you go out. That way you’ll constantly push your fitness goals.

Using Pay-to-play diets are just fads, not lifestyle changes. . .

Calories come from three places, glucose (sugars/carbs), fats, proteins.

You need to learn what effects your body, and how.

With Intermediate fasting I lost 30 pounds in 3 months.

I lost 40lbs in 2ish months by eating nothing but salads. I’d allow myself whatever dressing I wanted & I’d put meat on it for protein at dinner time. And when I say nothing but salads… that’s what I mean. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and anytime I felt hungry and wanted a snack… salad.

Commitment, losing weight takes time. Lift weights, intake protein! Walk 30min. A day. Strength training and balanced meals. Proportion of food should be hand full of veggies a fist of protein and carbs to make muscle and burn fat. Consistency is key. Don’t give up!

I’ve done keto, and stalled out because I was eating to many calories. Calorie deficiency is the way to go… You’ll need to figure out how much calories you can eat to maintain your weight, subtract about 500-800 calories from that, and you’ll drop weight. There’s a calculator for this that’ll show you based on you’re height, weight, and exercise.

I’m embarrassed of this picture but I’m also proud of myself. 48.2 pounds down. I’m still losing…
