How to potty train a 3-year-old?

Looking for some advice or tips on how to potty train my 3 yr old. She seems to have absolutely no interest in even trying and no matter how hard I try and ask her every 5-10 mins if she has to go she always just goes in her undies. Just looking for some tips please

I put a potty in the livingroom as while as bathroom and every time i went potty i took my daughter with me. Sometimes she peed other times she diddnt

She’s not ready. Wait till she is. My son potty trained in 3 days after he was ready. Rushing it makes it miserable for everyone.

My daughter did really well pooping on the potty but she would pee in her pull ups and underwear constantly. We ended up giving her a surprise (piece of candy or even some goldfish crackers or something else small) every time she tried to go pee. Then after a while we only gave them when she made the decision herself to try and go. She’s 3 1/2 and still has accidents once in a while which is fine bc she knows that accidents happen.
We also let her pee outside at home while feeding the animals when she has too instead of making her hold it so she doesn’t have an accident.

They’re all different though. I’m sure you’ll find something that works

If she has zero interest, start off by helping her to identify her body ques. Help her to learn to be able to pull up and down her pants/pull ups/underwear by herself. Take her with you when you go to the washroom. Start talking openly with her about how ur body feels when it starts giving you ques to go. Get some books, play pretend with her toys and incorporate them going potty into the play. She will eventually start showing interest.

My youngest daughter , absolutely refused, sent her to head start in pull ups, seen all other kids using potty , and in one week was completely, potty broke

My kid was really reward driving we didn’t sticker and m&m

If she’s not ready yet, she’s just not ready yet and that’s okay. You trying to force it is going to backfire on you, though. You and her will know when she’s ready, it’s okay to put the idea in her head and ask if she seems interested, but if she’s showing no interest; put her back in a diaper or pull up and let her lead the way.

If she has no interest,
she’s not ready. My kid is two months away from turning four and all of the sudden woke up and decided she knew how. Don’t push it.

Have a potty in the room where she spends her time and we trained our kids naked

I always did training in warm weather. Outside all day with potty near by. No diapers.

She’s not ready, let her take the lead.
