In need of some advice on potty training! 
My son will be 3 in October and I haven’t been forcing him to use the potty I introduced him to it a handful of times. I didn’t want to push to hard and then set him back even more if he wasn’t ready by pressuring him. Five days ago he started telling me when he had to poop and has been using the potty for pooping ever since The only thing is he doesn’t pee on the toilet, I don’t even think he knows that pee comes out there:weary: His dad and I are together but this is our first son so we are clueless! I have tried putting him in undies and letting him pee to know but he was still clueless and didn’t seem to care he was sitting in pee 
When he poops in the toilet he will pee all over the floor in the process. Advice would be greatly appreciated
We bought our son a frog urinal and it helped!
Either dad shows him or you show him his peter goes into the potty too. It may or may not work. Lol my son is only 14 months. Following.
My son pushes his peebug in the toilet and holds it down if he sits and pees. Hes been standing to pee and does really good with that. I have the problem with getting him to poop in the potty.

His dad should be showing him 
Yes Dad should show him how he goes but if Dad isn’t there mom should show that he hold pp in the toilet or teach him to stand and do it with training potty
My son is two I’ve taught him that pee comes out of his penis (pee pee) when I see him going in the tub I tell him good now put the pee in potty. Now when he asks to go to the potty he makes a pushing noise and points at his pee pee
Tell your husband to take him when he goes To pee. Maybe if he sees him doing it, he’ll want to. We made it a game. We three Cheerios in the toilet and had him aim at them. Not like a bag but enough to make it fun. The hardest part for us was the pooping on the potty. I hope once he realizes what to do, it may just be as simple as that. Happy training 
Dad needs to be taking him into the potty with him. It’s the same with little girls and their mommas
I used to take all my kids potty w me every time…they potty trained themselves
Have your husband show him. And the. After that set aside a few days if possible and do the naked potty training. Every 30 minutes or so have him try to go. Just keep doing it. He’ll catch on.
This is where Dad comes in!
Teach him to hold it down when he gets the hang of it teach him standing.
Send him outside without undies on to pee if able! That’s how I potty trained my son last year. Worked like a charm!!
I agree dad should be showing him but you can also get a potty seat that has a raised splash guard in the front to help stop the pee ending up on the floor.
Have him push his pee down when he poops and make a big deal about it being gross on the floor
Take him in bathroom when you go might help
I worked in the potty training room, and we always taught the boys to push their penis down into the potty. Some of my little boys we sat backwards on the potty with dry erase markers so they could colour the white board we had set up behind the potty.
Let dad take over when he has to pee…it’s easier for a man to show him how it’s done.

I have the opposite problem with my daughter
My 2yr old pees by standing on the top of my feet then pees into the toilet and when he poops you have to make sure his wee wee is facing down so it doesn’t go flying everywhere
Put a cheerio in the toilet and have him try to hit it
