I am stuck at 6cm...advice?

I’m stuck at 6cm, but the last 2 days I have been having so much more period like cramps and lower back pain, but on top of exhaustion, I can wake up and an hour later I can’t even stay awake. I also woke up with extreme pressure down below and it’s uncomfortable to walk. Are these good signs??? I am so ready to give birth lol

Have a warm bath, kills the cramps and helps to relax and bring on labour quicker

Eat half a pineapple and it’s juice

How you get pregnant is how you get unpregnant towards the end! If you “finish” it’s even more productive

Go to the hospital! My mother (I was her first) she told my dad she was having contraction type cramp/pains, and dilated 4cm and she was going to go to bed and he went no, and by the time they made the 30 min drive she was trying not to push. And her second baby, 25 min after cramping pains she was just making it to the hospital. Her third baby she was at work, cramo, dilating. Planned on finishing her 5 hr shift at a factory and a coworker noticed her lifting funny and called EMS and it was 10 min from the hospital and by the time they were rooming my mom she was squatting to push. I wouldn’t waste time. Anything could be going on, all of a sudden things move along fast, or baby or you get into distress. Just go in. My ex MIL on her 3rd kid (my ex) she was over due a wk and was induced twice and still labored for 3 days. He came out 11lbs 9oz and her water didn’t break because there was almost no water left. You don’t mess around. My baby was a planned c section, but at 7.5 mo there was no fetal movement and I went in and sat for a day with nothing. Finally they were going to rule baby a loss and on another ultrasound they could see the cord was laying across his neck, needs manual manipulation and poking and proding to get him moving. I delivered a healthy baby a month later via c section and doctors when they pulled him out, the cord was around his neck but lose, said if I would of labored, or had an accident, it could have been fatal. So ive learned you don’t wait, you don’t mess around. A friend just went through that 3 yrs ago. Had a check up, all was great. Two days later had bad pressure in her pelvis and ignored it, but it continued and she went in and they couldn’t get a heartbeat. They induced and she delivered…the cord was around his neck…doctors told her if she had come in right away there may have been a chance to catch that. Don’t mess with this. it’s your baby.

If u are 6cm dilated u should be in the hospital already

Go to the hospital, and if further dilation is sooooo slow and looks like a " long haul" ahead, as much as this suggestion is totally repugnant: ask the nurse to give you an enema. My first labor was 46 hours of hard horrendous labor. Second time was 19 awful hours. The third time appeared to be as slow, and back then enemas were often given toward the end. But this was early on and I asked anyway as my mom-in-law had told me that speeded things up. WELL, that baby hardly waited to get into the delivery room within a few minutes! Next day I asked the nurse if it was true that it did speed up labor and she said yes.

Yeh go to the hospital hun. At 6cm with cramping, lower back pain and pressure you’re not far from having baby. Having a drawn out labour isn’t unusual but its best if they can monitor baby too if it does take much longer, though I doubt it, sounds like you’re body is getting ready! You also need to check that baby is in the right spot and doing okay.

Get to the hospital, you sound like your going into labour
