I got pregnant and around 10-12 weeks realized I had lost the sensation or urge to pee. I’m over 40 weeks pregnant right now and I can go all day without peeing. Sometimes I feel some pressure down there and I make myself go pee and it goes away but my body doesn’t tell my brain I need to pee ever! It’s crazy! I’m curious to know if this will go away after I give birth or not. I’m hoping the baby is just sitting on a nerve or something but I have no idea why it happened. I mentioned it to my doctor and she doesn’t seem worried about it.

Yes the same happened for me. I also had tailbone pain after so I went to see a physical therapist and the different kinds of pelvic floor exercises they were having me do has helped some with it. I had to stop physical therapy for other reasons and still have a little bit of that feeling. Only sometimes my body will recognize that I have to pee, other times I just make sure I force myself to go multiple times a day. I think if I had continued with the physical therapy it would have gotten better. Maybe thats something you could try as well to see if it helps you any.

Check with Dr. Your bladder probably needs tacking up.

I had a c section and have no feeling in part of my mid section and have to wear adult diapers because I don’t realize when I pee my self even with doing everything to empty my bladder, before going anywhere or walking out of the bath room. I’m 24 and I’m miserable because of it.

Yeah, pelvic floor work and also time voiding to try train body to tighten up and gain sensation to wee again, I lost mine during pregnancy and also after birth, at my hospital they have a bladder specialist who I see on a regular basis x

Yeah happened with all my 6 pregnancies but my body was good again after awhile

:astonished: this is wow. Maybe see a urogynocologist? You may have to get a referral from your PCM. I’d speak to my PCM first.
