My oldest is 16 years older than my youngest and we’re getting along just fine

My oldest 2 are 3 1/2 yrs apart and then the oldest and 3rd one are 12 yrs apart
Not at all, my first 2 are about 5 yrs apart and they are still very close.
I have a 9 almost 8 year old and a 5 month old they are so helpful i was scared of the age gap but best thing i did

for the most part they get along well - the oldest was jealous of the baby - like why do I have to do dishes and she doesn’t - because she is 3 and you are 13. But all kids get jealous of each other at some point. The 20 & 15 year olds are still both at home and they go shopping, to the gym etc - pandemic induced since she was supposed to be away at college. but they also fight like she is wearing my clothes or she didn’t empty the dirt cup on the vacuum. My absolute favorite is it’s her day to feed the dog so I can’t. The dog needs fed just feed her your sister is at work.

No, my children are 4.5 years apart each.
I am 3 years older than 1 sister and 15 years older than another and I am closer to the sister who is 15 years younger
Mine are 7 years apart. My sister is 9 years younger than me. I have another sister who is 9 yrs older than me. I have brother who is 20 yes younger. But I have good relationship with all of them. There are pros and cons to any size age gap. If you want another child, and you are able to do so, have a baby

Not at all. My oldest son is 25 and my oldest daughter is 19. I also have a 10, 9 and 8 yr old. My oldest two are very protective of their younger sisters and they have an amazing relationship.

Me to had 2 children 18 months apart … then 7 years later had another 2 … so there agaes are 6,8,13,15 and I will be 35…

i laughed at this (not in a nasty way) between my 1st n second there is an 8 year gap then came number 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 xxxx oldest is 24, 16, 11, 10, 7 and 6 now thats some age gap xxxxx go for it i found i had more patience the older i got good luck xxxx oh i was 43 when i had my 6 yr old xx

I had mine 5 years apart i guess it depends on how you feel having one in school and another home or all in school at the same time mine are 27,22,18 well the last two are 4 years apart and i only have my 18 year old home

We have a 13, 12, 7, and a 4 month old. Trust me distance in age is not a bad thing, the older ones help with the younger ones. My 13yr old is more involved with my 4 month old than he has been with any of his other siblings.

Whats nice about yhe age gap. Is they can help out with the baby and that will help them bond…i have a 31 year old and a 21 year old, they get along well and are still close…

Mine are almost 6 years apart. And it works ok. There 5 and almost 12 now. And now it’s getting harder more though. Becuase my younger one wants big sister to play and she wants alone time so they fight. But it’s still a good age difference.

My boyfriends oldest will be 9 in July and our youngest is 3 next month. They are the closest out of all 4 of our kids. They are 8, 6, 3 and 2.
My best friend has 5 kids twins 19, 18, 4, 1 and she loves it another friend 18 and one due in August. Me I was smart I stopped at 1 lol
I have a 12 year age gap. It’s a non issue.

I have a 10 year gap between my 3rd and 4th. It was a shock to the system at first but so much easier having older kids and a newborn
All 4 of my kids are 4years apart in age(43, 36, 31 & 27)
