Is it possible to donate eggs if I have had a hysterectomy and tubal ligation?

I am perfectly fine with my choice but I feel a need to help families that want children. What can I do in my situation?

Contact a fertility clinic, not Facebook.

There are thousands of homeless children already. We don’t need another unwanted child in the world. You can’t just create a human being to give away and never speak to again. That’s so fucked up. The adoption industry doesn’t need your egg. They’re exploting children just fine without you. I hope no one wants your eggs.

I had a hysterectomy and they left my ovaries. I have been told they could harvest my eggs for personal use but I have not asked about for donation though I don’t see why it couldn’t be done.

I have done this, and they are very strict in the requirements. Having had a tubal and a hyst, I would contact a fertility office and look into over asking people who have no clue on Facebook. The reason for the hyst would be one consideration and the tubal ligation would be a big hurtle. Good luck, it is a wonderful thing to do and I believe I have my son because I have to someone else who wouldn’t have had!

I know they’re really strict, age, weight, meds, etc…they all play a factor in accepting. Your best bet is to contact someone where you live.

I have one for ya what the hell can’t I get rid of this crap? I never ask for all these posts and can’t get them to stop no matter what I do please .

If you still have them ovaries yes but costly and painful

i mean google says you can so if that’s something you’d want to do i’d go to an IVF clinic.

So I was told that having your tubes tied would
Make you an ideal candidate for donation or to be a suraget. Me
And my husband been looking for 2 years now. drs convinced me that even with a tube reversal or Ivf I’d be pretty high risk

Technically yes, but generally it would only be for yourself. Fertility clinics would most likely not take you on as a donor.

If you had a partial hysterectomy and still have your ovaries I believe you can do egg donation…

It’s a very invasive process that requires optimal health and conditions. It’s unlikely, BUT, you should reach out to a fertility clinic.

Depends on your states…
Age requirements. He. Etc.

Yes u can . U need to all w a specialist. Just know a few things that they will say no we don’t want the eggs, if u smoke or have any nicotine in ur blood they do check, alcohol , drugs , even thc , some medical conditions, if u have a fam history of downs, autism, md, Spina bifida and many more. So u have to go the Dr so they can check u out before anyone can say no or yes. U do get more money for eggs if say u have blue eyes blonde hair it’s bc that is requested most. Other things can determine money also.

I have my ovaries. No cervix or uterus.

In the US it’s very hard to get a hysterectomy. Usually there has to be something wrong. I’ve had a hysterectomy. Whatever caused the need for one will likely disqualify you.

The requirements are long…bmi, mental health screening, back ground check, theres also a medical screening and medication involved so your best bet would be to reach out to a local fertility clinic and ask all your questions there…also…most RE’s requirements differs from one another a little. Same as the list of requirements for being a surrogate

Alot of Facebook doctors. Contact a fertility specialist. They will answer all questions. Good luck

As long as you still have your ovaries, should be no problem to donate

Why anyone would laugh at this is pathetic. You are trying to help someone trying to be a mother. That was me 6 years ago. I tried so hard for many years, countless surgeries and 2 rounds of ivf I finally got my son. People are pathetic laughing smh

That’s a question for a doctor. No one on Facebook is going to know if your body is still producing eggs and if they are viable for donation.

You can still donate your eggs. It’s a very painful procedure though.

Fertility nurse here- yes you can.

So I wanted to know what was required because I was thinking about donating. A friend of mine did it and it made me curious, and since we weren’t talking at the time I couldn’t ask her. I asked my doctor and was told I immediately was not qualified because of some of my health problems, none of which had to do with my reproductive system.
I would suggest looking into fertility clinics around you and calling to ask.
The process I do know is kinda long because hormone and health checks, but if it’s something your really want to do, go pursue it! You’ll never know till you try if you can or not.

No on hysterectomy. Maybe on tubal.

They have to go over BMI,health records, genetics, etc. Have to talk to a clinic to find out if able. Im not able to donate. Heart defects genetically. So…im doing surrogacy instead. Have easy pregnancies, so why not? Many disqualification s for egg donation ,so get online, find a nearby clinic, and fill out the questionnaire to see if qualify.

If you look up egg donation theres a whole list of stuff you need to pass before you can donate. I read like 3% of women who want to donate actually can.

Im an ivf mumma. If you still have ovaries then yes you can donate your eggs. You don’t need your tubes or uterus to donate.
You’ll have to look into it further wherever your located and find out costs and what the go is with it all.

It’s amazing that you want to donate to people who can’t use their eggs

I’d consult a dr and fine out how much it’s going to cost you vs how much the egg is worth (cuz you can charge for eggs) I really wouldn’t do it (cuz it’s a whole process) unless I knew I’d be compensated for my time and eggs are worth a decent amount.

My wife tried helping other families but the ivf clinic said she was too old for egg harvesting. They want 25 or younger. They even said no to her being a suraget for someone.

If you still have ovaries and you’re in optimal health, it’s possible. Contact a few fertility clinics
