The doc wouldn’t purposely keep that info from you if you are wanting to know the gender. Probably couldn’t see and chooses not to guess.

I’m old but my doctor told me I was having a girl by the heartbeat. Supposedly girls have a higher one. He was right 3 times. One girl, two boys.
Why would you think the doctor is purposefully keeping that from you? They even gave you an explanation, the legs were crossed, they can’t see if it’s a boy or a girl…
I work in medicine… so, I’m sorry, I’m confused… Do you not trust your doctor to be honest with you?
Didn’t you just say the doctor said SHE has her legs in the way if thats the the way he said it you have your answer if he said baby than you will find out at ultra sound
I doubt it. It’s because they couldn’t see or be sure enough to tell you 
They can tell by blood work now.
