Looking for a sturdy crib!

What is a strong sturdy crib that’s affordable!? My son broke his crib and pack n play from jumping so much as he’s severely autistic and he won’t sleep in a toddler bed… help!! He’s almost 2

Been there!!! We rocked out of 3 cribs and 2 playpens and 2 beds!!! At one point we self manufactured a crib  by using peices from another to reinforce the sides!!! #autismmom

Ikea cribs are very basic and very sturdy.

My son (now 30) has autism. When he was little we put a twin mattress on the floor of his room and a baby gate across the door. When he got bigger, we closed the door to his room and put an alarm on it so we could hear if he got up. Round door handles were harder for him to open than the lever kind.

Just put him in a twin bed, you can use a bed rail or a pool noodle under the bottom sheet(as a barrier). I would not buy another crib for a kid that is almost 2

What about something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Harper-Bright-Designs-Guardrails-Montessori/dp/B0C8HBDFR8/ref=asc_df_B0C8HBDFR8/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=663322658615&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9416472568566820800&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1025930&hvtargid=pla-2210773836634&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjt-oBhDKARIsABVRB0wS79g3ovsEDNmF2impmzcUgrI6BNEwiHDzomkvOyyCsy4TkhAqCUcaAkdgEALw_wcB&th=1

I know autism comes with problems but at 2yo he’s going to grow out of cribs very quickly. Even if he still fits he’ll outgrow the safe weight .
Personally id be working on making sure the house was safe for him. Obviously you cant lock him in his room but you can lock pretty much everything else…windows, doors, cupboards etc. Make sure his room door has an alarm or pressure alarms in the hall outside his door . Get him a proper full size bed and work on his nighttime routine . Even a mattress on the floor would be safer than a crib for a 2yo who is breaking them

Get a good thick wood frame crib and then reinforce it with additional wood screws.

I literally have to do this with my beds so that it doesn’t squeek if you know that I mean. Lol

May be time to look into something like this?

There are also these options.
I was thinking the one low (on the ground, but rails all around).
Although the tent ones seem to provide privacy, calm, quiet, and safe feeling for many kids.

Try a twin bed with bed rail(s) on how ever many sides he needs them. (But no matter what you use I’d be concerned about his safety due to the jumping.
