Mamas, what’s the best way to conceive?

Too much sex can actually be a bad thing. Try the sperm meets egg plan: sex every other day until the day of ovulation the. 2 days in a row. Track your ovulation with ovulation test. (Easy at home off Amazon are cheap and work!)

Relax and stop trying so hard . Good things come to those who wait .

Make sure your getting off too . I hear that actually helps

Sex 5 to 6 times a day is your one of your problems.

First start tracking your ovulation. They sell ovulation tests at the store by the pregnancy tests. But you usually ovulate 10 to 14 days after the FIRST day of your period.

Then only have sex a few times before and after ovulation but be sure to hold out a few days before ovulation. The longer you guys wait between sex the more his semen count will be up.

Other than that just relax and have fun. Conceiving a baby shouldn’t be a chore it should be a fun activity

Good luck :black_heart:

My doctor said no excessive sex because it lowers sperm count and if you want to conceive quicker make his sperm count more potent by only having sex once every 3 days.

Monitor ovulation and only have sex then. He can’t be masturbating between or the sperm count is lower.

Quit trying. Took me 2 yrs with both pregnancies.

Took me 6 months when I was really actively trying on my own. Then got pregnant after 4 months of being with my husband and not trying whatsoever.
Stress will also be a factor in this, so do your best to stop thinking about it. Enjoy the sex since you’re clearly getting plenty, & it’ll happen.

Have you taken an ovulation test? You can get them at walmart by the pregnancy tests. It will tell you the best time to try and get pregnant… (when your ovulating for sure)

Conceive plus!!! Almost 11 years after my first I finally got another baby. Me and my husband both took conceive plus and used the conceive plus lube. Worked for us

Holy mother of god. You’re going to break his penis :rofl::woman_shrugging:. All jokes aside, the multiple times a day method is not effective. He starts shooting blanks. Track ovulation, and have sex when you’re ovulating.

Track your cycle with ovulation strips, lay down after the deed and use pre seed as lube

During ovulation the secretions are a lot thinner and more lubed. Helps with the travel of the sperm.

Relax and try not to stress about it…also doing it so many times a day is eventually gonna feel like work :rofl::rofl: it will happen…but stressing doesn’t help. Good luck

Maybe it’s not meant to happen yet , maybe something is wrong with his Sperm are your eggs …

If it’s meant to happen it will , stressing and talking about it all the time isn’t going to make it happen. Because you are stressing your body , so relax and the time will come … There is always a lot of what ifs so , relax don’t stress go have fun and enjoy the moment with each other don’t talk about it , don’t mention it , don’t think about it . Just so each other compassionate love for now , let your bodies relax and embrace the moments with each other .

Also eat lots of nuts especially pistachios

5-6 times a day?
Just relax. Give his swimmers time to recoup.

Take it from someone who did fertility treatments. Track your cycles, take ovulation tests, you and your SO get on high quality multi vitamins, eat and drink healthy, and sex ONCE daily until your ovulation tests read negative…no more than ONCE daily otherwise it depletes the quantity and mobility of his swimmers. If not pregnant after a year of trying then see your gynecologist which will refer you to a fertility specialist.

Stop trying and it’ll happen

You’re gonna suck him dry

You need to have a lot less sex for one. Get some OPKs (ovulation prediction kits). And use a fertility app to track everything.

For me somehow I don’t TRY, but I end up being pregnant.

Relax.
Stop “trying”. Just have fun with each other. Stress is hard on your body.
You can track your ovulation. See your OBGYN for a check-up. Keep taking the vitamins. Eat a healthy as possible, limited alcohol.
It’ll happen but being stressed really won’t help.
Y’all got this.

When I was struggling with getting pregnant with my second, my ob said sex every other day from days 10-20 post period

Start taking ovulation tests! Track your period and your fertile times. Amazon has cheap ovulation tests. Take them every day the two weeks prior to your period.

Not trying and just focusing on being healthy and having fun with your partner gets you pregnant quicker than anything. Everytime I had a mental break down and threw out all the ovulation kits and what not, boom. pregnant! Lol stress does crazy things to your body!

Dont try. Think “please don’t let me get pregnant!” Worked for me all 3 times:rofl::rofl:

Track your ovulation. You could be totally missing the mark!

Track ovulation and your “peak days” for conceiving is 14 days after the first day of your period. Get LH and HCG strips. I have an app called “Premom” and they sell their strips on amazon. I’ve gotten pregnant twice using their system.

We have sex 7 to 8 times a day.not trying to get pregnant.

Have sex every two days lol

Do it 1ce every other day. He needs time to build up enough sperm in ejaculation

About everyone I know got pregnant in the back of a pickup truck down by the river  (just a joke, best of luck <3 )

Don’t try so hard you are putting too much of a strain on you and your partner stress is the worst thing for someone trying to conceive

Have sex once or twice on day 2, 4 and 5 after your period finishes (about 10-14 days since the first day of your period). Don’t think about it too hard. If you’ve been trying for a year, see your GP.

Not that this is a sure thing or anything, everyone is different, and have different things going on with their body, but my fiance had trouble conceiving untill he started smoking some weed :woman_shrugging:

I used this after having five miscarriages back to back. I went through the first bottle with no results but by the second bottle I was pregnant and had a healthy baby in 2018 ! We struggled for years getting pregnant.

When youre ovulating! Obviously :eyes:

Don’t try and it will happen. I don’t know why it works but it does.
Just have sex on a regular basis and you’ll hit your ovulating days.

Try having sex less. Maybe once every other day two weeks after your period. Let his swimmers build up.

Stop stressing and it will happen when you least expect it

I didn’t get pregnant for 6 months, trying every other day. Once I stopped trying and was like “whatever” I was pregnant that month.

Stop “trying” stop thinking about it… my husband and I were trying for 3 years then I was told it would never happen I couldn’t have kids. a week later I conceived. After I gave birth 9 months later I was pregnant again so just relax breath dont try… things will work out how they meant to when they meant to

Nothing makes it harder to conceive more than stressing about trying to conceive. Relax. Also, don’t try so often. The count of his healthy boys will be greatly diminished.

You’re having sex way too often. Expert’s recommend ony every other day. If you’re really having sex that often, his sperm count is lower then it would normally be. Track your ovulation. And relax. Enjoy yourself.

The moment i lost 5 lbs i got pregnant all 3 times🙈 saying not to think of it is not helpful. Its not something that is easily put on the back burner. The best time is days 13 and the days around it as sperm can live for up to 5 days

I had sex once a day for like 3 weeks. And bam.

The best way is to NOT have sex 5-6 times a day. Once 2-3 days is best and healthiest. You’re draining your man dry and he doesn’t have the time to replenish with healthy sperm.

Are u using ovulation strips to track best times to have sex? Wow 5/6 times a day well that’s defo good if u want a girl I’ve heard lol x

I’m in the same situation but for someone that had Infertility issues people can’t just say dont think about & stop trying because for women like me, we have top stay on top of it like a job to make sure we know when Our peaks are & hormone levels…
Be kind with what you say because every women’s journey is different

Put a pillow under ur back n stop trying so hard mk it a fun thing n not a job. Alow him to ejaculate jus on the entrance of ur virgina

It depends on the health of you two also. Are you ovulating? Is his sperm healthy? Do either of you drink a lot? Also that’s a lot of sex even if your ovulating. You’d be better off with like twice a day every other day leading up to and during ovulation.

You do not want sex to become a chore or for your partner to feel used.

Ovulation sticks, that’ll tell you the right time to be trying. Good luck xx

Stop having it so much honestly the stress your putting on yourself isnt helping, honestly just have when you want to, not because you think you should

Use the ovia app. It follows your cycle and gives super accurate feedback about when you are most fertile.

Relax and don’t stress

Take a whole food prenatal. And red raspberry leaf capsules. My sons umbilical cord was so strong they had to use 2 pair of scissors with 2 people cutting at the same time :joy: my uterus was also so strong. I remember them telling me a few times how healthy my body was during my pregnancy. Google “mama and me 2” prenatals. And the red raspberry leaf you can get anywhere. There’s tons of info out there on it

Too much in a small amount of time. You are only fertile technically 3 days a month. Day before ovulation day of ovulation and day after. Find out when you ovulate there are at home test strips you can buy but typically most women ovulate about a week after your period ends . 5-6 times a Day makes 0 difference. 1 time on the right day has a better chance of working  also too often (5-6) lowers the sperm count. Once a day on the right days should do it

Mucinex thins mucous, and for some women that includes cervical mucous. Therefore, if you’re ovulating, has the potential to help thin it and make it easier to conceive. Not medical advice by any means!!!

I was under the weather when I got pregnant for my 3 pregnancies. All 3 times I had been taking mucinex for about 4-5 days trying to kick severe allergies/light colds. It may have been the timing and a coincidence, but with it thinning mucous I feel like it played a part in all 3 pregnancies.

Again, not medical advice, just something that may have a connection and worth reading into some.

Honestly that is too much sex. Yes that is a real thing. Only do it once a day while you are ovulating. That much sex sounds exhausting. Just thinking about that hurts my vagina. Good luck!!

I swear by ovulation strips!!! Start taking one a day every morning the day your period ends. At first I was just using an app that told me when I was ovulating, but I actually ovulate way earlier than most people so I kept missing my fertile window. The first month we used the ovulation strips we conceived! Also 5-6 times a day is probably a bit much and lowering sperm counts. My OB told us that every other day normally provides the highest amount of sperm.

Track your ovulation, get a menstrual cup, on a fertile day have him make a donation in the cup and carefully insert, leave in place for a while. If there are no health issues causing the delay it can help put the odds in your favor.
*look up instructions for a fertility bag. I know that sounds silly but my BFF made me one and after maybe a month we were pregnant. Magic or placebo effect it doesn’t really matter if it gets your body ready

I always hated when people told me to relax because  BUT some of that is true. The CoQ10 is a good supplement. I’d also take some folic acid and some MyoInositol. I took those three while doing my fertility treatments and it was the last round before IVF. It takes 3 months for your eggs to mature before ovulation, so the CoQ10 may not help RIGHT AWAY

Honestly prob just once a day should be good ! It might actually lower his count to do so much lol one or two times a day , get all your vitamins and hormone levels checked ( my low thyroid stopped me from conceiving for months ) and just don’t stress !

My doctor told me when we were trying to conceive that you have to let his count build up. And having it that often keeps him drained. They told us once every other day was more than enough because sperm can live up to two weeks inside of the vagina. We were pregnant 11 days after having my IUD taken out.

By not trying so hard, make sure you and you partner are both healthy, if infertility is an issue 30-40% of the time is an issue on both parts… it’s not always the female, and not always the male…
#iknowfromexperience

It depends on how long you have been trying. After a year of no success, I suggest going to a fertility specialist for evaluation. I tried for over 3 years just to find out that I wouldn’t be able to conceive without help. I wished I hadn’t waited so long.

After lay on ur back and lift your body upwards for a few minutes… that allows babies to travel faster and easier . Good luck

5-6x a day is a total lie! Lol
Have sex every other day during your ovulation week.
For me it took: not trying(after8months of desperately trying), the mini pill and weaning my oldest, lol and a drunken night with a weak pullout game :joy::grimacing:

You gotta let sperm buildup. Also, we were trying for a year, I went to my dr. He ordered a blood test, only to find out I had really low progesterone. Maybe see if they can check? I had 3 rounds of clomid & a HSG. Now, I am 10 weeks pregnant!! Good luck!

Having more sex doesn’t increase your chances of getting pregnant. My advice is to stop “trying” and not think about it. Relax and enjoy your sexual experience with your partner.

Having sex that much is just lowering his speed count. Just let it happen naturally. It’s so much harder when you stress it.

Once every other day is fine. 5-6 times a day is too much and probably ain’t going you much good… after sex, stay in bed laying down for like 5 minutes before going to the bathroom, also if you just got off birth control, I’ve had friends that didn’t get pregnant for like 9 months after getting the birth control out… just try to relax stressing ain’t doing any good

As soon as you stop trying, it’ll happen. Me and my fiance tried for a over a year, even made an appointment to get us checked for infertility but turns out I was just putting to much pressure on my body lol

Same story with my bestie. Stopped trying after a couple years of stressing over it. Boom! And baby #2 followed right after. Too much stress doesn’t help the process

Stop trying so hard. That causes stress. Also you don’t want him to cum too frequently that can lower speed counts. Track your ovulation. The more we tried the harder is was to get pregnant. When we decided to stop trying we found out I was pregnant 3 weeks later

5-6 times a day is too much. The longer you wait the more sperm there will be. Having sex once a day while fertile will be sufficient. Having more sex decreases chances.

I had sex twice a day when my ovulation window peaked, use those strips to help you on that premom app. Track your cm, put your feet up after each time you do it. Relax. 5 to 6 times is a bit excessive.

It took me a year to get pregnant. I finally did when I stopped actively trying and just relaxed a little

That’s a bit much. Stop having sex that many times. Try buying an ovulation test too. Have sex once every day or every other. It lives up to 5 days inside so if you can get to it before you ovulate that will help

Tried for 8 years. Took fertility medicine and all. So I just said to myself “well guess I’m not going to be able to have kids”, I stopped stressing about it and I went to weight watchers (because I didn’t think I could get pregnant) and lost 80 lbs and BAM, I got pregnant. My son will be 19 years old in January! Best blessing ever! Good luck. Wish you nothing but the best

Maybe one time each day or two, just relax and don’t stress yourself about it happening it will surprise you!
Or you could dress as a cheerleader and he could dress as a footballer, works well for teenagers :smile: LOL

Go on a KETO diet and just stop trying so hard.
Almost everyone I know who was trying conceived after following a keto diet for some time.

There’s an herbal supplement called Vitex that’s supposed to help regulate your period but it also helps with conception. Pretty sure thats how I got pregnant with my first lol

After no luck, my hubs started working out of town and sharing a room with another guy while finished a job for a month. He only got to see me on the weekends and he couldn’t masturbate or anything during the week. So that how I think I finally got pregnant.

Ovulation tracker and Sometimes we don’t orgasm at the same time, make sure you pleasure yourself afterward as well, it’s a trick my obgyn told me about and I was 38 and pregnant within 3 months with this trick

When your finally like nevermind I dont want a kid and you dont think about it is when you get preggers tis what happened to me anyways. The funny things about a womans mind is if we keep thinking about pregnancy our bodies will make us think we are when were not. So my advice just dont think about it.

5 or 6 times a day may be lowering his sperm count. Quit trying so hard and let your body and mind relax. Track your ovulation. Good luck :heavy_heart_exclamation:

You’re trying to hard. Try once every other day during your ovulation cycle.

Take a break from being bunnies, go about every other day so he’s more potent. I forget which ones, but he can take supplements also. Use only lubes that are safe for TTC. Try to climax after he does. Get an ovulation tracker app and the ovulation prediction pee sticks.

Slow down. And do it once every two to build up his sperm… like your trying g way too hard. And thinking too hard about it. When the time is right it will happen for you.

Go pregnant with both my kids by just not trying to not get pregnant :woman_shrugging: if you have been trying for a ling time I would suggest a specialist if not stop trying so hard

Having sex too much will lower his speed count. Once a day every other day from day 10 to day 20 should work

I Swear by this…as soon as he ejaculates put your legs up on the wall so that your almost in a head stand… it took me 9 years… someone told me to do that… was pregnant within a month! Gravity helps pull it down where it needs to go!

I might seem crazy but don’t try because when you’re not trying there’s less stress and pressure and that stress can lower his sperm count.

Dang, how’re y’all not tired of having sex? After the 2nd time he wouldn’t be able to breath on me! Stop trying so hard, relax and enjoy it.

The glow app is free and has so much advice plus forums where you can talk to other ladies trying to conceive different groups like “ older and ttc” or “younger and ttc” or “fertility issues” etc kind of reminds me of fb but in a free app that tracks your period and tells you when you are ovulating and the more cycles you track the better the app is at telling you exactly when u ovulate. You can only get pregnant a few days before you ovulate so you don’t need to be having sex that much unless you just want to be it can burn you out and start becoming a job I feel when you are ttc. Make sure you take a prenatal and Dha before and while pregnant bc the dha helps with brain and eye development in fetus which starts early on in pregnancy. If you have irregular periods like I did than it can be hard to pinpoint ovulation but if you are regular than you should be ovulating 14 to 16 days before your period. Many people say 14 days after your period starts but that is only if you have a 28 day cycle and it depends on how long you literally phase(the time after ovulation till when u start period) is. A healthy luteal phase is 14 to 16 days long I believe and every women is different but once you figure out your luteal phase it should never change. So my cycle is 32 days long and regular now I found out my luteal phase is 14 days long so counting backwards from my last period is when I ovulated last and that lets me know I ovulate 18 days after I start my period. So if I would go by what people say and think I ovulated 14 days after period than I would not be having sex at correct time. Usually you can tell by your discharge or cm (cervical mucus) is a sign when about to ovulate. It will become thin and watery which is fertile or the most fertile which is the consistency of raw egg white and is this texture because it helps the sperm swim through and get to the egg so if you are dry down there or have a thicker cm than most likely not ovulating but there are things that can help you produce thinner cm if that’s an issue. Do not take any over the counter meds to dry up mucus during ovulation bc it will dry up your cm as well and prevent pregnancy but like someone mentioned above over the counter mucus thinners can help. Some other options are tracking your nasal body temp to see when ovulating and ovulation predictor kits help(dollar tree has accurate and cheap ones near pregnancy tests) there is so much info on the app and out there. Good luck
