My 8-month-old is still spitting up: Thoughts?

See a pediatric GI specialist

Please have her checked for reflux

It can be normal for some babies. I wouldn’t worry unless it begins to effect her health. My son out grew it but before he did, he learned that we would have to get him out of bed to change him…etc and so he started doing it on purpose. UGH! LOL

Mine didn’t get his first tooth till 9 months and the pediatrician said that he could eat everything we ate because he would just gum it up and be able to swallow just fine. Just be sure to give small pieces

It could be acid reflux sometimes babies get this look at Google for suggestions

My son had acid reflux. It got better once he started on solids but still would spit up occasionally until he was 16 months old. He is now 2 and no problems. Eats everything in site seems like.

My sister did this everyday. Back in thee 60’s the pediatrician told my mom it would stop when the baby started walking and her stomach ‘dropped’. She started walking and it stopped.

It’s reflux, he’ll grow out of it. My daughter spit up so much we actually carried wash clothes around with us instead of burp clothes. It’s super gross and they ruin all their clothes but it’ll go away. Hood luck mama!!!

Try elevating her bed and keep her elevated when feeding. My son had acid reflux. They gave him medicine for it.

I don’t know if you’re still warming milk, but my daughter would throw up her milk. I realized that children are actually just smaller versions of us. I don’t like warm milk so I tried cool milk and it worked, not ice cold. Good luck.

My son threw up a lot ended up on meds for acid reflux even though he was growing an gaining

Probably a food allergy. My daughter did that and I had to switch her off milk to soy milk
