Just need to advice or if your kiddos have been through this. My almost 2 year old has been constantly itching for about 2 months now, she has no visible rash or red marks, her skin looks and feels completely normal. Only if she can actually get to her skin, she will just scratch until she breaks skin( they are only small cuts because we get to them in time) We’ve asked the doctor multiple times now, and she just keeps saying put aquaphor or hydrocortisone cream. But she itches everywhere and it doesn’t seem to do much. My oldest gets eczema flair ups really bad in the winter, so I’m just assuming thats it, but hers just seems constant to where she just wiggles and tries to scratch while she sleeps and I just feel so awful for her! Any advice would be great!
Could be a sign of kidney stones. Any other symptoms?
Maybe change your laundry detergent or she is sensitive to the clothing she wears! for me some materials are just a no for me
Try emollient cream instead of soap and moisturizer. It could also be how she reacts to stress.
Get an MRI. I heard a story of someone like this and they kept shooing her off because of no visible rash and she ended up have a tumor that turned into cancer
If you’re taking her to a pediatrician make an appointment with a dermatologist or two. Insurance should pay for a second opinion.
Ask her Dr about testing or eliminating gluten……a gluten rash is below the skin, terribly itchy.
Food allergies are major triggers for eczema. High acid content, metal compounds, night shades plants. The best research I found was studying metal allergies ex.(nickel)
Could be… worms we all have at some stage of our lives. Worth a try.
