Am I paranoid when my fiance talks to other guys and hides the messages by talking in either snap chat or just deleting the messages?

Not necessarily a bad thing. He may just be ocd and not want to have clutter. Unless he’s given a reason not to trust him then don’t worry about it

Isn’t that what Snapchat does in general? The whole app was initially designed for everything to be seen once and then disappear. Although maybe that’s changed (?)

I would just ask him about it. I know I am OCD and I delete messages and stuff every so often and I don’t have anything to hide. But I’ve found that Snapchat can lead to trouble so I just deleted mine.

Unless he changes the settings to “keep for 24 hours” then they delete on their own. I switch it to keep them for a day cause I forget what I say all the time lol

After 24 hours they get deleted unless you specifically save them. Now if like the person’s name is gone then yeah he would have had to delete that

My mom deletes everything, messages, pictures, phone calls everything. She says it takes up space on my phone. I also delete, it bugs me to have stuff on my phone that isn’t being used…if that makes sense. Nothing to hide just OCD kicks in

If you have no trust in him & are this insecure you shouldn’t be in that relationship.
Snapchat automatically deletes after chat is opened or if one person in chat changed setting to delete after 24hours.
My husband never saved any chats sent or that came in, never had any worries of it.
If you’re freaking out over even him talking to his guy friends…he’s not the problem here.

Same as some of the ladies above… I generally delete repeated calls and non important numbers in my call list, snaps I haven’t talked to in a day or two, same with messages and fb messages. Clutter control for me. I dont like seeing long lists I have to scroll through.

I cannot stand my feeds cluttered. I delete messages as soon as they are no longer needed. My husband has my passcode, he can check any time he wants.
She’s saying he either uses snapchat so they don’t get saved or deletes the text messages. I don’t think that is normal unless he deletes all his conversations. Might be something along the lines of what you’re thinking. But checking your partners phone without permission isn’t normal either. You already don’t trust him. There’s a reason.

Snapchat deletes after you view it unless you change it to stay for 24 hrs then it deletes after that. I have to set all mine to 24 hrs, cause I cant remember what I said after a few hours.
Some people just delete messages and calls often. If he’s doing it for everyone single person he talks to I would not be worried at all.

Messages can either delete automatically viewed or after 24 hours unless you save them by clicking on each individual message and saving them.
So yes sorry you’re paranoid and if you’re not able to trust your fiance/husband then you should end your relationship because if theres no trust theres nothing sorry the truth hurts

Snap chats delete after they’ve been seen unless the settings are on delete after 24 hours or they’ve been saved. Saved will not delete them
They don’t last unless you click on the individual message typed to save it. If it’s highlighted it’s saved until you delete it. If it’s not highlighted it will be removed after a certain amount of time.
They delete after u read/view unless conversation are saved.

Everyone talks like its just that easy, yes you should trust him but if thats something you need to work on then work on it dnt need to find a new man just work on the issue, people give up on love to easily. tell him how your feeling so he can reassure you, then try n take a step back, all i thought when i read this was what Louise redknapps 16 year old son said when she started dating again and someone wanted to continue talking to her on Snapchat, Snapchat is for people that cheat or wna send naughty pics n while i get obviously that isn’t always the case some liars are good and some people use platforms like Snapchat to make leading their double lives easier, that being said if he didn’t love you he wouldn’t be marrying you, dnt overthink it but u have to tell him that its an issue for you or it’ll fester in ur mind

Married 4 years! When we officially started dating snap chat had to go! I wasn’t a user he was! Way too much going on!! Sadly I caught him on there talking with women early on! Deleted it!! Nothing good is going to come, tell him to text his buddy’s. Just as affective

Im new to snapchat, got it to chat with my son who lives with his dad. The messages delete by themselves after viewing, I switched it to delete after 24 hours because I dont like to feel like I am hiding anything from my hubby

My husband LOVED the delete button on everything and he was cheating.
Snapchat deletes the messages after you look at them. He has no control over the messages on snapchat being delete.
