My job fired me and then changed their mind

Just because a state is a “right to work” state does not mean you can be fired unjustly. Document everything. You can definitely sue if you can prove they fire you for having a baby. Their pea brains probably figured that out and that’s why they unfired you.

I’m not sure why someone would want to return back to a job/company like that. Know your worth, they clearly don’t respect you or even care if you stay or leave. But no you can’t say they fired you because your pregnant if they never said that. Just because you “feel” like that’s the reason doesn’t mean it really is. Need to show proof of them saying it’s because your pregnant and then go after them fuckers. And I’m pretty sure you can’t get fired if you have medical reasoning

I’m dead serious, get a lawyer, They’re violating your rights just that fact that they would make me feel uncomfortable for being pregnant would be enough for my to find legal advice, always keep a note book of incidents that seem unfair to you and the date they happened.

Ok you call in all the time is what I am gathering. From migraines and other things that has nothing to do with your pregnancy. Don’t use that excuse. In Michigan you work at your own risk. They don’t need a reason to fire you. They do have FMLA that can protect you somewhat. But if you abuse it your on your own. You can not record anything without stating it to who your recording in a lot of states. So be careful with that advise. But again, no employer wants an employee that is not there everyday.

It’s likely because you’ve missed so many days. They need someone “reliable” in a position such as the one you have.

Report them, this is illegal.

You don’t say where you are based and that will affect what happens next.
In the UK there is a legal process they must follow to terminate employment and it doesn’t sound as if that has been done.
