Remember to always place your child on his back when putting him to bed, up to one year of age (Picture 1). Have a nighttime routine and a regular sleep schedule. Set a bedtime for your child. Be sure to stick with the time you select by putting your baby to bed at the same time every night.

She helped with our bub a year ago and absolutely changed our lives

My babies are grown now. We stuck to same bedtime everynight. Only small nap if they need nap. Pull toys that sing to them wkd great for my kids. My kids had john lennon themed animals made like his artwork that also played imagine till they sleepy. Not sure if carter still makes those but they are so neat

Have a regular schedule. We use bedtime bath. At 1 yr they could be growing or teething so keeping them comfortable with it will help.

My baby goes to bed and self soothes. Takes about 3 mins and he is asleep. Have a good routine. You are in charge, not the baby/child.

I lay with a bottle and we have a TV in the room. I have a list of things I watch on YouTube, until he falls asleep. Type in YouTube (kids sleepy time),( beautiful ,relaxing music),when there eyes get heavy, just close tv. And stay put. HINT: KEEP ROOM COOL

Nice warm, relaxing bath.

Feeding it, bathing it, making sure it is clean and then if it still doesn’t shut off, I take the batteries out and put them back in :rofl:

It’s normal for them to wake up the first 2yrs of life. It’s part of development. Just be consistent with your routine. My son just started sleeping through the night at 19 months old.

Feed them then bath play with them for about an hour then rock them to sleep

Getting them to sleep or keeping them asleep? Pretty much for 6 months to a year mine didn’t sleep through the night. I had a little wind up light that would play a soft tune when I’d go in to change my son in the middle of the night. It was just enough light to see to wipe his butt. No talking, no loud noises, keep everything warm as much as possible, tuck them in and turn off soft light and sound & they should fall right back asleep.

At first he hated baths, so we’d put the stove light on, put the baby bath on top of the running dishwasher so it was vibrating and steamy, then dry off, PJs, story time and crib.

If you have to sit quietly in the darkened room for a while, use the time to meditate or stretch, but it’s best if you just leave & they fall asleep. Be sure to wear them out during the day (jolly jumper, rolling walker, crawling, learning, etc).

Less naps
More active stuff

Less naps and tucker them out threw out the day
