We kinda have a tradition that we kinda didnt mean to start but did. My mom and dad used dads name for my brothers middle names and I took my at the time husband’s middle name for our second son as the ex’s first name was used as his first sons middle name. But we have Rylee, Hunter and Conner for our boys and our o ly girl is Maddison. Ex picked all first names and I got middle names.
My favorite right now is Adrian or Gabriel. I also heard the name Ryker or Riker the other day. I like that one

My hubs and I named our first boy Eli and are planning on Sophie-Anne if we have a girl or Devon for another boy in the future. They all have Korean middle names for their heritage

Andrew Scott. Don’t shorten Andrew to Andy or Drew. If you give a kid a name call him or her by that name. If you liked it enough to name them that name then call them by that name. Scott Andrew is also a good name.

25 yrs ago I went through boys names for my son. I had to think how they would be when he got older so a lot got veto. I liked kieth but my husband came up with CLARK. My daughter is Candice I did not want the same names everyone else was picking: Thomas,spencer, Hunter and Jacob. He was always the only Clark

it’s a different name and I know it’s the name of the boy on Hocus Pocus that became a cat, but it’s one of those names that is versatile with a middle name

I was watching this very nice cowboy movie on Netflix, “Badland” - this actor was named, Mathias William and I thought it was a good name esp that he did a great job in his role as a detective and he was a gorgeous man with a great body.

Once you pick the name yell it loudly a few dozen times, if you don’t like how it sounds, change it. You will be yelling it for the next 18 years.

After 33 years married to a Jr that uses his middle name, please give your child a name that you will actually call your child. As an adult it is a royal pain trying to figure out if the official name, middle name and if Jr was actually used on any document from loans, computer sign ins, etc. we have 5 children and all use their given names, Brandon, Lauren, Austin, Anabella and Gabriella. Initials are important too. Brandon Joel doesn’t like the BJ initials so he never uses his middle name. Sorry for long rant but congratulations and good luck!

Visit family names on both sides, even mothers, grandmothers maiden names, remember they have to carry what ever name you decide on for the rest of his life, be kind. Congratulations on your baby 
My sons name is Joshua Brandon but I also love the name Trystan Mitchel or Trystan Nolan. My granddaughters names are Dakota Georgia and Kenzie Mae. I do not care for the name Declan because if you look up the meaning of that name it’s the clan I myself just dont care for it but to each thier own
I always wanted to name my son Talen because of a hot guy from laguna beach lol

Love your daughters name. Might be biased because that’s my daughters name also lol. Except we spelled it Eliana. But same thing. For a boy I like Thomas or Ian Matthew

Go back thru your family generations and draw names from there. You’d be surprised of the good solid name you can find. But whatever name you choose be sure.to yell it outloud several times. Then write out on a piece of and keep in the bag that you’re taki6to the hospital. Good thing I did that because a snooty nurse decided I had spelled my son’s name wrong. She spelled like an oil “derrick” not like Derek.

Ezra Alistar. 1st name was my boy name for my daughter sofia but shes a girl lol and Alistar was a possible name for my son and they sound nice together as a name. Im done having babies so for anyone who wants to use it it has a nice ring. My sons name is Evan Alexander.

Gabriel is my favorite name but my boys are named Andrew and Jordan.
Winston, Frederick, Cupthort, Reginald, or whatever other old-fashioned name that you prefer that has now gone long past.

I chose Gabriel if I had a boy - I did not, love this name - beautiful - Gabe as an adult.

You could always look at traditional Irish baby naming: girls: 1st, after maternal grandmother, 2nd after paternal grandmother. Boys: 1st after paternal grandfather, 2nd after maternal grandfather
My sons name is Hayden Delmar. Delmar was my grandfathers and uncles middle name.
